Good news Anders, I find that on my laptop which is ATI graphics running I get jaggies on my screenshots the PC I use for FS flying does not do this, however I run a GTX 260 card and I miss my 8800GTS as this handled FS much better with better graphic regarding jaggies or blurries...

I can´t imagine what method you might be useing to convert textures, "ANDERSCN", but, "IF" you´re using the same DXT BMP untility as myself .... then there should be absolutely nothing time consuming in regard to such texture/BMP conversions.
It should be a simple matter of inserting the necessary texture BMP file into the program .... then selecting "SAVE" .... and then selecting the "EXTENDED 32 BITT .888" option (which is what I´ve used whenever Ive needed to) .... and then selecting "SAVE" once again .... all over in about 10 seconds flat !!!!
In respect of you recent new video card observations ....
"YES" .... graphics card type, drivers, and settings are all going to have the final say over the ´quality of what you actualy see in your FS display/imagery.
In my case, and even with a relatively upmarket graphics card (at least it was early last year) .... whilst I get generally excellent display/imagery I still can´t, completly, eliminate minor "jagginess" when viewing aircraft in a more-or-less horizontal axis.
Instead I need to incline aircraft .... in a climbing/banking axis in order to "completely eliminate" any minor "jagginess" that might be evident .... which is why you´ll see most of the air-to-air FS imagery which I present here being of this kind of nature !!!!
In anything less than such a climbing/banking axis .... and I can´t then seem to be able to get completely smoth display/imagely .... regardless of whatever driver or settings combination I use.
I don´t know if what you´re trying discussing here may be related to my own experience, but, I though I´d comment accordingly.

Hi, Yes, I did save each texture file as “extended 32-bit 888”, which only takes a few seconds. But if each livery contains 10-20 files, it takes a while. But I was so happy that I found a solution to this issue, that I just wanted to share my experience. But I strongly apology if this post is inappropriate. You can delete it with no problems for me.

The thing is though .... you shouldn´t/don´t need to convert every individual BMP .... not even the pro´s do that. Normally .... fuselages and tails, and maybe also then wings and engines are quite sufficient ! In any case it´s absolutely no problem at all "ANDERSCN" .... everything stated, as posted, is simply in the interests of trading information and suggestions .... which, hopefully, aids many more people than whom might first pose any query accordingly.
