This is never going to appear at HJG unless an airframe wore the colours for the film... But after being asked and after finishing a couple of DC 9 templates off for my next batch of 9's I threw a coat of paint at it and here in my opinion is the ugliest Trisatr livery ;D   |

Personally I don't think that livery looks all that bad,however, the L1011 would have looked much better if it had a nose cone section shaped like the Comet, Caravelle or VC-10.
As it is, it doesn't look aerodynamic at all. ;D ;D

I also think it is not so bad it looks better if you paint from the wing down full metal color

Also nice was the top color of the tail wing was dark blue

Your right Joan those pictures you sent were not great and I thought the body was red, the wings are right...I think but as Dan said learn to paint and thn change it you have my best wishes to do so This was a one off and I won't be doing any other ones I have too many real ones like the TWA to work on |

I think it's an attractive scheme. Although I think I personally would've given it a white fuselage with some red stripes and the NEA would've been red. But, I'm not in the movie biz...
