Actually .... I always figured things the other way round ;D.... in that I regarded the NIMROD as the COMET's ugly sister ! ;D "YES" .... I believe it can too .... AND .... I understand it can also protect itself as well (I forget the name of the missile system it was equiped with) when sensed to be under attack. Anyone seen/built that big new AIRFIX kit of the NIMROD .... I think it's about 1/72 scale. I really must get one ! Mark C AKL/NZ

1/72 scale Garry .... I don't think I could fit a 1/27 scale Nimrod in the house :e .... as much as I might like to have one that size ! I wish that kit was "SPECIALED/DISCOUNTED" here. Last time I looked it was retailing for close to $100 NZD .... roughly $70 USD. Pricing aside though .... wouldn't I .... just wouldn't I ever .... like to see a COMET (or series of them) produced 1n 1/72nd scale, but, also supported with the very best period liveries too However .... these things cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to tool .... and for a market (plastyic modelling) that's supposedly in decline Mark C AKL/NZ
