***FS95 -- it was my first Microsoft flight simulator. Never used FS5***
I'm confused, I started with FS98, wasn't it FS6?
Or was it FS6 point 5 or something like that?

You shouldn´t have any problems installing FS2004/FS9 in a WINDOWS 7 environment. My good friend and HJG colleague (Camilo LUENGAS) .... here in Colombia .... has just installed both F22004/FS9 and FSX in a WINDOWS 7 environment .... and both on the same drive too .... and both are running perfectly normally/well. I dunno if "THIS" (what I´m about to say) is so relevent to your case, but, I have heard of "bogus product" comming out of Asian regions .... and that´s nothing new either ! When buying "CHEAP" .... and particularly online (even thoughAMAZON should be OK) .... I, personally, always feel the following legal phrase must always be borne in mind .... "CAVEAT EMPTOR" = "BUYER BEWARE" Mark C BOG/COL

I purchased 2 copies of FS2004 one in '03 and the second in '05 and the '05 version had the FS9.1 update installed.

You are completely right Garry, I think Mike has either misunderstood the issue or posted in the wrong thread

garryrussell, Dan, yes, the thread started talking about fs2002 and a tristar, but we drfted to ye old times :-) My first simulator was FS5 (I still have a copy stored somere in a dvd) but I saw the original FS, totally gren/black characters and not a single graphic. It was in a PC 4 Mhz with 4 colors monitor, if I'm not wrong
