Had a non-HJG screenshot that I took a while back, so though I'd add it to the new thread. From Cal Classic. Very nice airplane and an excellent panel. Yes, I do like that older United livery DC-7 enroute over Rocky Mountains.

Looks nice It looks like the first officer pilot opened the left window for fresh air.
Are you using FSX or FS2004?

I have an alternative DC-7 (with no duplicate landing gear units, and with a more "period"-looking black instrument panel) available for download at AVSIM.COM. Given that the MDL is just a mod of the California Classics one, it should be compatible with California Classics textures, and a competent HJG user should be able to do the necessary file manipulation.

Nice shot. Mitta flown that one.
We had a charter [DC-6B] to Nassau and ferried back to Miami. It was a nice hot day so we flew at 6000 and opened both cockpit windows. MAN.....was it LOUD !!

Well.....it WAS a few years ago [ !!! ], but as I recall, it was just a lot of wind noise with not much wind actually getting inside. Only did it that one time.

Plank, Lenahan, Luis, Reed. All except Howard robbly wound up on the west coast in 47's, Howard retired in DEN on the 47. Maybe they all retired in the 60's.
