I just went on a search for more photos of it. It was really ugly before. Two tone brown. Gawdaful. Any idea what color the engine nacelles are?

The DEOMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO B texture we currently host for B707-138B 9Q-CLK was painted by Ben HARTMANN .... and features the aircrafts original light brown/dark brown livery .... 2008 - 9Q-CLK - 707-138B Textures by Ben Hartmann Last Updated: 07 Aug 2008 The engine nacelles on this partiular livery version were dark brown/light grey. God only know what they´ll be now .... when they´re put back on the aircraft .... but .... I wouldn´t mind betting white/grey or some kind of stripping akin to the 2-tone blue currently applied to the fuselage "may" be a safe bet FYI .... this particular texture/earlier is available among our B707-138B (LATE) version downloads .... within our B707-120B section. "RAILRUNNER130" .... if you´re contemplating painting this livery for us (subject to Tony´s prior authorization of course) then be sure to use our B707-138B LATE model (not the B707-120B).... and in particular the "S2HK" version of this model because the actual aircraft is fitted with Stage 2 Hush Kits. PM me if you need to .... when the time comes .... and I´ll be glad to further advise you further regarding model intracies .... BUT .... "I would" recommend delaying this project until we can determine, conclusively, what the colour of those engine will be when they´re put back on the aircraft Mark C BOG/COL

I wouldn´t like to guess beyond what I´ve hinted might happen .... simply because we just don´t know I rather wait until we see what that aircraft gets when the engines go back on it. Apart from the basic curves and coulour shades .... there are some fundamental differences between the "official version" Boeing Dreamliner livery .... and that similar version of it which we currently see applied to 9Q-CLK so far. Best not to hurry .... but rather .... "WAIT" .... IMHO ! Mark C BOG/COL

I'm not committing. But, I'm going to play with it and see what happens. I'll leave the nacelles white until I know better.
If all goes as planned today, I'll be offline for a few days until I get back home.

A contact of mine, confirms that this aircraft is still sitting in Miami with NO engines. He confirms that engines should be installed and that it is scheduled to depart Miami in the next month. I am working to obtain photo's when completed. I'll keep the forum posted when I have more info! TheGetter

That sounds "GOOD" ! Once we know what those engines look like .... then "MAYBE" .... we "MIGHT" .... see something happen in the form of a texture featuring this livery and for the HJG B707-138 B (LATE) model. Thanks for keeping us informed ! Mark C BOG/COL

Congolese soil (they'd have to give me a really BIG check with a whole lot of 0's to fly there) Africa, where old aircraft go to crash Vietnam era mindset, we said "goin back to the WORLD" (USA), and we meant it. And still do

After reading the history on that aircraft, was it normal for 707's to have an extra engine (or is it fuel) pod attached inboard of their engines like that?
