Nice screenshots 'almguy1'. But the 707 in the first three screenshots is a Boeing 707-320C with Lufthansa Cargo livery. The 707-420 has Rolls Royce Conway turbojet and was never equipmented wit tubofans like the 707-320B and 707-320C.
Beside this, nice collection of aircrafts.

Actually the Conway was a bypass engine, but with a bypass ratio of only 0.3 (compared to 1.37 on the JT3D) it may better be considered a "leaky turbojet" rather than a true turbofan. It also used noise suppressors on the 707 (like the turbojets and unlike the JT3Ds), although they were of a fluted design, rather than the organ-pipe design used on the P&W turbojets.

Thanks George for correct my statement about those RR Conways. Again I've learned something about aviation history. You guys are full of aviation history facts!

Thanks Klaus 320c ,Lufthansa 707's were always mirror finish on the bare metal like Airforce one never grubby or dirty , I will have to go look at the non cargo LH 707's which this one should have been LH did not fly Cargo B707 to MKJP. I will have to sub it when I can for the pax version, I have a BnW photo of lufthansa I took back in 70,s on the ramp maybe post that one, Its really great to be able to have all these old aircraft I worked with come to life.

I should actually have been using a 320B on Luft H first 3 as same type engines but pax version will correct that thanks for keeping me accurate. Thanks Dave KSMF

That's ours/one of George's own B707 panels already currently hosted here Tony ! It represents the 1970's configuration .... which is quite a different layout than that of the classic 1959 and 1965 B707 panel versions. Mark C AKL/NZ

Hi All. Even when sold on the metal did shine. VP-WKV delivery to Air Zim from FRA via LGW where it picked up fare paying passengers. Not a good photo as she was so heavy the take off run was long, so she was not airborne until well past me and the trees in the way. BTW its a forest there now! Paul

Nice images Paul.
One of these days I will have to try the choppers. They look like a lot of fun to fly.

I like being busy .... and much as I enjoy complexity or a decent challenge too .... but .... "HELE-CHOPTERS" are just too much of a bloody handful for my personal liking ;D Mark C AKL/NZ
