I was going to move your posting down to NON-HJG Dave .... by virtue of the number of non-HJG aircraft subjects represented, but, decided to leave things "as-is" .... since I can see what you've created is intended to be "a day at the airport" type of presentation .... which inevitably features both non-HJG and HJG related subjects. BTW .... those VIASA and GEMINI tri-jets are actually MD11's .... the DC10's successor Most of the PAX carrying airlines which flew the MD11 didn't like it at all .... due to underperformance/drag related issues (for example ....THAI AIRWAYS INTERNATIONAL reported a 17% higher fuel burn on the BKK/AKL route during the early 1990's .... with other airlines reporting similar range/payload defficienes well below what MDC had promised them), BUT, apparently these aircraft do actually quite superb air-freighters.
