I was purposely being "SUGGESTIVE" only ;D .... without giving too much away Let´s just say .... I do have a few projects up my sleeve .... BUT .... what actually becomes of them will depend on a number of things FRANKLY .... and without intending to appear the least bit confrontational or personal (because neither is my actual intention in fact) by the manner of this/my response .... I really don´t give "a rats big a$%&" as to whether or not any question/query, on these forum pages, is ever "posed just for the sake of a question" .... or .... "posed in relation to payware" .... be these on behalf of an either "non-existent or unamed prospective author/supplier" .... or whatever the hell else might be the case. And .... SO WHAT .... if it´s a "time waste" Either way .... "DC10BOY" posed, what I (at least) consider being "a perfectly well-intentioned question". Posing (whatever) questions/queries "HERE" is "one of many reasons" why we actually have a forum at all .... and "IF" people can´t do that, or rather, aren´t made to feel comfortable/welcome doing so, then there´s, indeed, something "VERY WRONG" here somewhere !!!! "IF" yet other people can´t, or simply don´t want to, provide a reasonably "SUPPORTIVE/CONSIDERATE" answer to any such question/query as may be posed here .... regardless of their own personal convictions/interpretations .... and regardless as to whether or not the real purpose of any question/query might be masked/vailed or however otherwise vague .... THEN .... the solution, for these people, is both "perfect and simple" .... in that they should, perhaps, not ever bother wasting their "own time" by replying .... "AT ALL". I really can´t be bothered disectiing, or otherwise scrutinising, the "intent" behind any question/query posed here. Start doing that and all one then risks achieving is the disruption of our own, as well as other peoples, enjoyment of what we all should be "TRYING" to enjoy "HERE". It´s far more simple/pleasant to either provide a considerate answer, or, just ignore the question/query copletely !!!! ;D Whilst many of us (including me) have all tripped up, "HERE" (with customer relations), at some stage, anything less than what I´ve suggesed (above), is, in my own personal oppinion, kind of "DISAPPOINTING" to see really. If anyone wants to take this up with me "PRIVATELY" .... then they´re most welcome to do so. And that´s "IT" .... from me ! Mark C BOG/CO

Well, as far as the priginal question goes, I'd probably want it to be a series current in the late 70's, with as accurate as possible FDE's (like the Dreamfleet 727), and as fully as possible systems (like the PIC or PMDG) It would also have to be for FS9. I could really care ess about moving windows, seats, swing hats, etc. But, as far as the latter question goes, it depends. The color would depend on the car itself- if I had a Jaguar from the 60's or early 70's, probably silver; if I had a VW bug probably the stack model blue; a new Lincoln, maybe, mmmm, I don't know- would have to see some examples. I'd like a big heavy duty pick-up, definitely black.

Hi guys,I'm sorry it took so long for me to return to this thread, Work has been quite crazy as of late. As some of you may or may not know, I have been involved behind the scenes with quite a few freeware and payware projects. I truly believe the rivalry between those 2 communities is healthy as they drive each other to greater success.I have been blessed to be around and working on DC-10s for most of my life. The best way for me to "give back" to the FS community is to put this knowledge and experience into the hands of developers who have the talent to bring it to life in FS.I do recognize the achievements of CLS with the 10 but hoped for more systems immersion.I originally asked the question here because because the DC-10 fits the arena that HJG plays in.Mark understands what I am getting at here, What particular varients, airlines, nav systems or even era would be well recieved.? I asked the question because I am consulting on such a project.I never accept monetary gain on any of these projects.I Simply want to help provide the FS community with the most realistic possible aircraft.freeware or payware.I meant no offense to anyone. Stan

I've bought payware in the past and, as far as the smaller type aircraft go, I've been happy enough. BUT, there are excellent freeware available and HJG leads the list IMO. I most enjoy the "classic" tube and propliners, so, thanks to HJG and Calclassics I have everything that makes me happy and satisfies my FS desires. I've found the "holy grail" of flight simming, so payware is never, anymore, a consideration.
THANK YOU HJG for all your work and effort to make this one of the most enjoyable hobbies around. I lost my medical 15 years ago and I think I would have gone crazy (craziER that is) without flight sim and all the superb products, free and pay, available.
Bob

Stan, I originally stayed out of this, but I think I'll go ahead and delve in since you seem to be sincere about the question.
If someone were to do a DC-10, payware or freeware, I would like to see it pick up where we left off at SGA. Add full systems, panels, and VC. Match the visual and flight dynamics quality of the SGA aircraft and then add a panel and VC that match it in quality and accuracy.
