Yes it does BHX is quiet at the moment waiting for the ski season to really get underway hence a line of Ryanair 737-800's sitting idle! Pics taken in the quiet bit of the day lunchtime-ish

Hey Tony, I've never remembered to ask, but as the left seater works the cam, what are your usual duties beyond just monitoring what's going on in the front office when you're not doing an EMS run?

Yes its G-POLA We take it in turns to be front or rear seat observer. Rear seat acts as the task controller, anything thats not to do with the aircraft (captain commander of that) So that role is called Tactical Flight Officer, you do radios Nav computer, Nitesun, controlling ground resources at incidents etc. Front observer does all the camera work be it any of the 4 cameras in the pod and digitally records everything for the evidence library.
