Is there supposed to be a checklist and performance data (vspeeds, flap limits, etc.) included with the MD81? I can't find any. Is there a way to get them? It's frustrating to have such a great plane and panel but no info on how to fly it.  |

"NO" .... there's not "supposed to be" .... but .... I believe it may be possible to download such data from FS.COM, AVSIM.COM (in the form of packages by Matt ZAGORAN's FS manuals) .... or even just GOOGLE searching FAA documentation in regard to MDX aircraft types which is what I do a lot of.
HOWEVER ....
I've written "a fairly extensive document" intended for use with our MDX simulations .... entitled "MD80/90 PANEL INSTALLATION & HANDLING NOTES" .... and which you'll find on this particular SUPPORT form page.
This particular document goes a long way beyond explaining just panel installation .... to advise in regard to correct aircraft type/panel/sound tie-ups .... and it also advises in regard to how these MDX simulations a best flown within FS per my "basic flying guides".
In the absence of one being able to locate/access data of the type mentioned at the start of my reply .... my substitute documentaion represents the best data we can provide here .... and much of which was based on the real world data which I had access to in any case.
