You need to assign (in Setup) keystoke code to the concord nose all the way up and all the way down. They are listed in two separate areas, make sure you assign to each of them.

Not all of the following information may apply to the HJG B717-200 .... but .... some of it will/should .... since keyboard commands which control a number of animations among HJG DC9 and MDX series aircraft (those models equipped with the various features) also apply to the HJG B717-200 .... REMEMBER THOUGH .... not all of these aircraft are/were equipped with ventral/rear fuselage airstairs .... "IF" that's what he was querying in regard to I also have to "assume" these same keyboard commands still function with these models in FSX too .... since the 3D aircraft models, themselves, were primarily intended for FS2004. Some of the Concorde controls have changed in FSX, so you have to experiment there.

As stated within the Installation Instructions which accompany the CONCORDE Aircraft Base Pack .... and .... as also stated within the online manual ("CONCORDE INSTALLATION & HANDLING NOTES") located on the "CONCORDE SUPPORT" forum page .... The FSFT PM2 CONCORDE simulation is "FS2004/FS9" compatible only.PLEASE .... when posting a query it's always best to start "a new thread" for each new subject query rather than adding ones query to any unrelated existing posting Mark C AKL/NZ

The concorde nose visor is used differently in FSX compared to older versions. In FSX the variables (in panels etc) will still work, but the animation will not be shown unless the airframe type is set to one of the supersonic presets in the air file (which would mess up everything else). Even then (I have tested this with the HJG B712), the animation will respond to both the concorde nose visor commands AND the flaps settings, making it pretty useless anyway. Bit of a shame as I like the airstairs at regional airports and so far, I can tentitvely say, that I have got most of the rest of my B712 setup working in FSX.
In terms of a work-around, if the developers are interested and assuming that the source files are available, it should be possible to bind the animation to a different function (for example, exit:3 or greater). This would then be easy to access by key-command, button assignment (and/or FSUIPC) or via XML/C++ in gauge programming. Do you think there is any chance of that happening on, for example, the B712? It is sad when FS9 planes so nearly work perfectly in FSX (one reason I have stayed so long on FS9) - I guess there is no interest in doing it, but it should be pretty easy...

Hi skipbo! Yes the 727 rear ventral stairs work, if you have the Vistaliners/HJG 727 basepacks and appropriate panel installed, you will see an icon which activates open/close the rear stairs. I will refer you to 727 installation notes, you will find useful information on what is available such what you're looking for. tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/7819/b727-panels-installation-handling-notesBenoit

Benoit's "right" .... Refer to "SECTION 1:07" of the above-linked HJG B727 manual. This section covers model descriptions and working animations .... some of the latter of which do need being manually assigned within FS in order to function. The only animations which won't work in FSX are those requiring the CONCORDE VISOR key board commands (which I think relate to the forward folding airstairs animation only on these B727's) .... since the CONCORDE VISOR keyboard commands this particular animation uses are base on the FS2004 version which, unfortunately, doesn't work in FSX You should be fine in regard to the othr WINGFOLD and TAIL HOOK related animation controlling keyboard assignments though .... so far as i'm aware. "THANKS" for your assistance there Benoit Mark C AKL/NZ
