Hi All, I do hope this is not a repeat question. I have recently down loaded the md82 base file and the md82 austrian texture file. I have tried to install the Golding Red panel all seems OK except the air speed guage is not displaying. I tried the White panel with the same result. I then tried to install the Base pack and the aircraft on my Win 7 system (the other is XP) and had the same result. Any help would be appreciated. I've tried altering the screen resolution but that made no difference. The airspeed guage file is present in the panel file and the panel cfg file. Please any idea's Regards navyman

This is a known issue .... BUT .... it's also one that, stangely, seems to affect some PC's/FS installations only and not everyones generally.
Until I replace and reupload each the 2 current panels with a "new ASI" .... the solution to your problem is very simple .... so .... please follow, precicesly, the instructions outlined below and which "WILL" resolve this particular issue for you, and for anyone else experiencing it too ....
- Download the "SPADA MD80" semi-EFIS MD80 panel version.
- Identify the gauge named ca727asi .... and copy this particular gauge file over to each of the 2 GOLDING analogue MD80 panel versions.
- Then open the PANEL.CFG file for each of these 2 GOLDING panels and locate the following gauge reference ....
gauge17=airspeed, 71,478,130,130 ;HGHB/PG
.... then edit/change this entry to read precisely as follows ....
gauge17=ca727asi, 71,478,130,130
.... and then save this edit !!!!
I recommend copying & pasting the above replacement data to you CFG to asvoid potential for typographical error
Delete the original "airspeed.gau" file .... if you wish.
This action will/should resolve the problem for anyone experiencing this particular unusual issue.
The recommended SPADA based panel ASI replacement is slightly different from the original GOLDING panel ASI version, but, it works every bit as well/reliably.
I have actually covered this particular detail within my "MD80/90 PANEL INSTAKLLATION & HANDLING NOTES" posting on our McDONNELL-DOUGLAS AIRCRAFT SUPPORT page .... see the following panel descriptions section of these notes ....
