The RAF L1011 can't be considered .... for lack of the appropriate model.
Once again it's a -500 (short fuselage, taller landing gear, and greater wing span) .... AND NOT ONLY THAT .... but these particular (RAF) aircraft, being tankers, also have a refueling booms (and their associated housing) which aould also need to be modelled into to its lower rear end .... in order to be authentic, but which, HJG, at this time, simply isn't able to do.
As for the DC9 .... that one would probably be practical, but, like any other subject/request .... it's one of those things that's first got to "appeal" to someone/an HJG artist/painter.
