Good afternoon,
Let's see if I am able to answer precisely ...
Sure !!! I never said it was a problem with any of the aircraft components !!! I love those aircraft, other pilots in our VA love them too and I've been flying them for years with a lot of fun and without problems as far as I remember.
As said answering Dan's post, the reason was a software conflict with Nvidia graphic driver update.
Most likely. As I said on top, I never thought this is because a problem with any of the aircraft components. I must say in my defence, however, that in real life I am a scientist and use to write down precisely all the steps I do when performing any operation. This is why I can format and reinstall all my software very rapidly and precisely, and the same goes to the FS2004 where everything is noted, followed and amended if I find a better way to do any process. Also, I follow strictly all installation procedures given by the developer. In this case, the only different thing I did in the installation process you quote is that I first installed the core files of the panel and then the panel itself in the "fsfconv" folder. However, there should be no differences in performance due to this "alternative" installation.
Sorry, but I have no idea on how to paste an image here. I'll have to study the procedure and will paste it in a new message as soon as I know it. :-(
Once again, I assume that any fault is mine but I think I did it precisely following the individual "installation.txt" files in any zip file. However, I am human ...
Absolutely agree. As said, I am one of your biggest fans.
Again, thank you for your time and interest. I will upload the image of my DC93 folder and will post it as soon as I know how to do it. However, I am sorry for bothering you with this problem and I would like to ask you to leave it. I will try to solve it by myself or perhaps one day it solves without "external" action. I have already reinstalled and uninstalled it for three times and though I am a registered user of AOM, I do not trust it for removing all the files that are copied during the install of this aircraft.
A big thank for your effort,
Lluis

.... BUT .... whatever's causing your particular problem does seem to be localized to your own system/installation specifically.Sure !!! Just quickly reviewing the very basic facts as recently communicated by you .... and then re clarified by me ....aerofoto said:
... "PRIOR" to whatever happened to result in your, apparently, needing to format your system and impose re installation of the DC9 simulation. As said answering Dan's post, the reason was a software conflict with Nvidia graphic driver update.

So then .... "SOMETHING" has obviously happened/gone very wrong "SOMEWHERE" between then and now .... and I'm certain "THERE-IN" (your reformat and reinstallation) is, possibly, where part of your problem (if not the entirety of it) is/may be located. Most likely. As I said on top, I never thought this is because a problem with any of the aircraft components. Out of "pure curiosity" .... I'd also like to see a JPEG image showing me the contents of your DC9 aircraft base pack .... which may also helpSorry, but I have no idea on how to paste an image here. I'll have to study the procedure and will paste it in a new message as soon as I know it. :-(

With the exception of any possible (but extremely rare .... in fact I've never know of this happening) system specific incompatibility .... it's usually only when the recommended installation procedures are circumvented (I'm not suggesting you've done this, but, it does need being explored), or otherwise misunderstood, that any issues, at all, start to arise.Once again, I assume that any fault is mine but I think I did it precisely following the individual "installation.txt" files in any zip file. The HJG DC9 simulations are not new .... and they were "EACH" extremely well tested over a very long period (more than a year) prior to their actual public release here .... and they've all become even better understood with the passage of time and over the past 3 years since.Absolutely agree. As said, I am one of your biggest fans.

It's very unusual for HJG to not be able to put a finger on (or resolve) whatever might be going on/wrong, but, your experience, does seem to be a particularly unusual (previously unheard of) problem???Again, thank you for your time and interest.
