I've not been able to locate this information specifically (and it might be of little relevence in FS anyway since, from my experience, the effect imposed by FS in regard to the likes of crosswind component is probably more "BULLnuts" than anything else) .... but .... most early jetliners, of the same period as the CARAVELLE, were limited to mximum crosswind component of around 20-25 KTS .... whilst for others (namely later types) this was more in the vicinity of around 30 KTS. I'd have to assume 20-25 KTS for the CARAVELLE .... and which might also apply to jetliners of a similar wing sweep like that of the COMET too Again I'm "ASSUMING" .... rather than stating any fract Mark C AKL/NZ
