My real time weather quit working in FSX. It is the default that came with FSX. It says it's loading, but it doesn't. Any ideas? Falcon

I'm using FSrealWX lite (freeware) and it works nicely with FS9 and should work equally nicely with FSX. Here you can more information about FSrealWX (there will be a new version available soon): www.fsrealwx.net/. Klaus

If you fly on Vatsim, Sqwkbox 4.0 or FSINN includes real weather live feed for free.

Falcon Hello as Klaus stated, you may use FSRealWX lite as an alternative. Personally, I find it a very efficient and incredible weather engine for FS2004 and X compared to the default. Having said that however, there are some users (me included) that experience a screen flicker to black while the weather is updating. There are several methods to deal with this bug in FS but all the methodologies countermeasures in my case haven't worked yet other users are reporting success. A payware alternative would be FS Global Real Weather which also has nice features such as archive weather. Although for the price of free FSRealWX lite is a killer app if you ask me and if you do not experience the screen flickers it certainly makes the deal even sweeter. One last thing, remember that to run either of these two weather engines, you'll need an unregistered version of FSUIPC for these apps to push their weather reports to the sim. Best of luck!
