Hi: As Mark has explained carefully I want to add only the crew training aspect again (was not so clear in my postings): The real difficult airports need not only an adaquate airplane but also specially trained and rated crews. And even then accidents happen on that airports, till now not on Santos Dumont but on other difficult airports in the last years various accidents happened to experienced and trained crews in airliners complying the existing rules. But as the accident of the TAM A-320 Flight 3054 at Congonhas (also around 6000ft runway) shows: www.cenipa.aer.mil.br/cenipa/paginas/relatorios/pdf/3054ing.pdf"adaquate" by the letter of the law is no guaranty that everything comes out as planed. Kind regards Walter
