Attachment DeletedI have added shockwave lights to my FSX defualt and HJG a/c with no real problems once I discovered a bad install etc. Anyway I was trying to add those to a Grumman Albatross. One was for fs9 with a panel I built for fsx, and the other was a port over by someone else to fsx. What I did was install the neccessary gauge in the panel cfg. then went to the Light sections and just changed only the light, no numbers just the extension. Nothing works, except the landing lite still comes on with the original that isn't even in the Lights section listed as 5. Anyway any ideas? Maybe one can't install those in everything? I left a thread on the website of Shockwave, but as usuall, all I get from them is that I screwed up, and no information on how to fix it. Thanks anyone with any ideas. Falcon

Hi:
Light Switches sometimes are non default in third party panels, if these have non default lights. So what did you mean with "gauge".
Kind regards
Walter

Walter, what I meant to say is I added the line to panel cfg of the last gauge of : gaugeXX=shockwave_lights!SW Lights,1,1,1,1 //shockwave light, as the manuel says to add this to the panel cfg. line of either the first VC or if none the first 2d panel line. The panel switches work on the defualt lights so I would assume they should work with shockwave. Using key strokes doesn't work either.

Hi Falcon:
If the shockwave lights work on others of your panels:
Change the light switches of the Grumman panel with light switches of a panel, where they work. Voila! Should work.
Kind regards
Walter
P.S.: Check if the Grumman panel has it gauges in the panel folder, if this is the case you can copy the "gauges".gau of the otherwise working light switches to the Grumman panel FOLDER. Same for the .gau of the shockwave lights. Same holds for the systemgauge which is called by the last line of your panel.cfg. The systemgauge has to be accessible by the panel.cfg also. Means it has to be in the FS9 gauges folder or in the panel folder.

Hey Walter, thanks for the info. However on further checking, I spelled shockwave with an extra c in it so those lights didn't work. Sometimes I think my mind has......................................................
