OK folks .... so .... here you have it
"THANKS" to Benoit (merci mil fois mon amie) .... this's the last/final installment to complete our "FSX SPECIFIC" audio for each of our new DC10 simulations.
Todays audio/visual preview (above) features the P&W JT9D turbofan version soundpack for each of the DC10-40's only.
for those whom may have missed Benoit's previous audio/visual presentations featuring our new GE CF6-6 and GE CF6-50 soundpacks for the other members of our new DC10 family, then, here they are once again ....
I'm sorry I keep stressing/repeating this next particular detail, but, do so simply in the interest of trying to ensure everyone "the very best possible" audio experience using each of these 3 new DC10 soundpacks ....
Each of these new soundpacks (both FS2004 and FSX specific versions) "MUST BE USED WITH THE CORRECT AIRCRAFT BASE PACK VERSIONS" .... due to their having been compiled entirely in acordance with the FDE data for each simulation.
If not paired correctly, or, not used with the HJG supplied DC10 FDE, or if used with another simulation altogether .... then .... these soundpacks simply will not/cannot work as intended.
Please use each of these soundpacks as stipulated within my recent orientation notes (which accompanied our website update announcement) or as has been stated within our online/forum based DC10 manual/"DC10 PANEL INSTALLATION & HANDLING NOTES" .... on the "McDONNELL-DOUGLAS SUPPORT" forum page.
If anyone ... for any reason at all .... is still uncertain as to what to do .... THEN .... simply ask me, or Benoit, on the forum
That's what we're here for
Ihe "FSX SPECIFIC" versions of these new DC10 soundpacks won't be publicly available until first HJG website during 2015.
The FS2004 versions of each "ARE" already currently available .... fromthe "McDONNELL-DOUGLAS SOUNDS" section of the HJG Downloads page.
We hope everyone will enjoy this brand new DC10 audio .... because .... one simply will not find better quality or more authentic DC10 specific audio available anywhere else on the web since these files have each been compiled from the best available real world recordings .... and which will/should promote a DC10 audio experience that's possibly "AS REAL AS IT GETS"
