Since I have use FSX extensively for the last 8 years, and I did purchase a copy of FS2004 A Century of Flight, thru Amazon, and was shipped from Germany. I recieved it yesterday, and it only contains 3 discs. The install instructions say you have to run Disc 4 to open this. Is that correct? Am I missing something? other than disc 4? I have contacted the shipper and Amazon so will see what happens. Thanks everyone in advance. Falcon

Yes and No is the answer. Disk #4 is required. However, some clever person was able to come up with software that can be uploaded to your PC. which then provides the same information as Disk 4.
I think I have a copy of that somewhere in my files. I have never used it so I don't really know if it works, but I can e-mail a copy of it to you if you like.
Write me a PM.

The FS2004 ACOF package comes with (or should come with) a jewel case (CD container) containing 4 3D's labelled as follows .... CD # 1 CD # 2 CD # 3 CD # 4 The container opens up like a book .... with CD # 1 in its top tray .... then CD's # 2 and # 3 in ita center left and right trays .... then lift up the CD # 3 tray (on the right) and CD # 4 will/should be sitting undernerath .... it's easy to miss it Unless the program has been edited, to any extent since I first bought it when it was first released, then, according to my instalation instructions .... CD # 1 is inserted first, and from memormy, you'll then be prompred to insert CD # 2, and then # 3 as the installation process progresses. From memory .... CD # 4 needs to be inserted into your drive everytime one runs FS2004 ACOF .... BUT .... as Herman sais, some clever monkey devised what's known as "A CD CRACK" which, if you have or can access it, simply requires the default "FS9" aplication file (inside FS2004's "FLIGHT SIMULATOR 9" folder) to be replaced .... and .... one will then never require use of CD # 4 (I think it is) again. There's also a patch for FS2004 too .... named "FS9.1 UPDATE" .... which you might want to search for. It's probably not essential (in fact I've only installed it within the past 36 months, or so, nd all these years later), but, it does add a number of details to the default sceneries (missing bridges and the like) and also alters the way in which the programs Auto-Gen scenery is displayed. Denny .... send me a PM if you have any queries. I may .... or may not .... be able to assist .... depending upon the nature of your need Mark C AKL/NZ
