I have everything installed, as instructions specified, and everything shows up, loads fine. However I cant get the starboard engine to start. I shut down the engines, and restart them, but the starboard one just wont fire up. The fan is moving like if pinwheeling in the wind, but nothing else. Did I install something wrong?

There's no known problem that might prevent engine startup within any of the HJG supplied L1011 TRISTAR simulations .... provided the correct/recommended procedures are being applied to start with. Please refer to my following posting .... "L1011 PANEL INSTAKLLATION & HANDLING NOTES" (HJG's forum based/online manual for the L1011 simulations) .... tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/3888/l1011-tristar-panel-installation-handling.... and in particular please refer to "SECTION 3.01: PANEL/SYSTEMS CONFIGURATION - MANUAL ENGINE STARTUP PROCEDURES" .... which outlines the precise FS procedure to be followed for engine startup and pre-taxi/pre-T/O panel configuration. I suspect your problem my lie in either the FUEL PUMP configuration on the F/E panel, or setting the Engine Starter switches on the F/E panel, or engaging the Fuel Ignition levers on the Center Pedestall panel at either too early or late a stage during engine startup. Either of these 3 scenarios (suggestions) could result in a failed egine startup attempt. Check .... per the PANEL INSTALLATION & HANDLING NOTES - Section 1 .... that you're also using the correct panel/aircraft base pack combination too. BUT .... there's no known problem to start with .... in either FSX or FS2004. Mark C AKL/NZ

Awesome I'll check everything out FSX when I launch, since I launch on the runways usually, the engines are all fired up m. I may have to do that trick that loads with the engines off I'll check out your write up and try those engine instructions. Because the strange thing is and it may be FSX glitching, I can't shut down port engine nor the rear engine.

The L1011 panels, and base packs, were all last updated early last year .... I think it was.
I'm not aware of any such problems .... in either FS2004 .... or FSX.
What that essentially means is .... "none" were encountered during pre-release testing .... and "none" (alomg the lines of your experience) have been reported since these files were last re-released.
"THIS" (your particular experience) .... is "the first" that's been reported (so far as i'm aware) .... along these lines at least.
