UMMM.... you mentioned this about a week ago within your original thread on the same subject .... tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/7807/help-on-installing-aircraftWe advised you to check the PANEL.CFG and SOUND.CFG entries within the default aircraft base pack PANEL and SOUND folders in order to ensure these reflect the correct ALIAS= data for FSX .... and as advised/provided within your above original thread. Have you done this as the first step in your trouble-shooting process of elimination ? As mentioned at the time .... we can´t see precisely what you´ve done .... and have to "ASSUME" .... but .... the advice previoiusly tendered "IS" the place to start Markj C BOG/CO

Sorry to hear that you are still unable to get your DC-10-30CF going in FSX. I have just completed installing this aircraft into FSX successfully as shown in the images below. The FSX Aircraft Menu. At the Ramp. I used the HJG L1011 Panel because it is compatible with FSX, and I used the L1011 Sound package, but you can use other third party panels and sound as long as they are compatible with FSX. The whole process was fairly simple but you must follow the panel and sound instructions precisely. First of all you must remember that once the different Folders are extracted you will end up with Folders inside Folders. It is the inside folders that will have to look at. Once you have installed the Base Aircraft Folder and your selected airline paint you need to delete the Panel and Sound Folders and then replace with the Panel and Sound Folders that you have chosen. Hope this helps. Herman
