That is a Boeing 707, a completely different aircraft to the short and narrow bodied KC/C-135
Maybe a typo, do you mean a C-137 of some sort?

The 707 and C135/KC135/RC135/E3 are based on the same airframe.

The 707 has a wider fuselage and is not the same as a C-135, I think it's about four inches. It cost Boeing a fortune to change it.
That verision will also have a completly different wing
I think it C-137 for a 707

Ahh, yes, just googled it up, C137 does appear to be the USAF version of a 707.
I also thought the 135s were essentially the same, but I guess not.

They might have been but Pan Am wanted six abreast seating so it had to be made wider.
Boeing said it was the most expensive modification that could have ben asked for.

It worked out very well and it was a very brave move by Boeing to go for it.
Selling just over a thousand units in those days of such an expensive machine was quite an achievment.
Also later changing the wing, fuse length and the powerplants showed a flexibility that was well rewarded.
Flexible even to the point of making a short fuse for Qantas

Just had a look at a reference for this aircraft in the JP Airline fleets 2004/05.
Delivered from Boeing in 1976 to the IIAF/renamed Islamic Rep. of Iran Air Force, registration 5-8309.

Ben .... see Tony ! Assuming Ben's texture is coming here to replace the one we currently offer. I again need to remind folk we are indeed aware of the fact that the SAHA B707's were castrated tankers .... ex-Iranian AF I believe. The original texture we offer for this aircraft is "REPRESENTATIONAL ONLY" .... because we can't, at this time, provide a model with the remnants of that lower rear fuselage refueling boom installation. I presume Ben's proposed replacement texture will be similarly representational too. I don't know if Ben has painted any markings on the lower rear fuselage of this texture .... to suggest/hint at where such an installation/housing had been. I haven't been able to look up this aircrafts bum yet to see ! ;D I don't even know if the like of what I've suggested here (in lieu of a custom model) is even possible Mark C AKL/NZ
