I've now just about completed the main panels for the new DC-10 panel series, which I hope will be a huge advance in authenticity over our current offerings! Although there's still a fair bit of work to do (mostly on the Flight Engineer panel) -- plus the corrections to the 3D models which have been mentioned elsewhere -- I thought I'd give people here a sneak preview: First Officer Panel's view of take-offCaptain's view of landing

Wow, I can't wait, looks like you have been really, really busy George.
It looks like we are all in for a lot of fun.
Cheers,
Nathan.

Those screenshots are looking mouth-watering George. I can't wait to see the final product/panel. Then I try again the DC-10 (currently I have the older SGA/FFX DC-10 which uses an older panel where I can do some sort of fuel-management, but this management is very basic due having only three tanks (left-right-center).
When the new DC-10-panel is released, I'm sure that the old panel I'm currently using is going to be retired.

A quick cosmetic query: you can see that the ADI's dark background has a bluish tinge to it because I based it from an actual photograph. Should I make it pure grey, or should I apply the same bluish colouration to the rest of the gauge faces to match it?

Lookinmg "FINE" so far George .... thanks for the presentation " I can't see it George .... on my system .... BUT .... my monitor is set up to run "fractionally darker" (my own prefeence) than most and is probably why your concern isn't so evident to me. In any case .... I'd encourage to adopt "uniformity" in respect of the gauge faces coulour densities etc, but, leave it up to you/yur own preference/s. Mark C AKL/NZ

.....and does that look like a working Engine Thrust Limit Computer? Getting excited Nathan. It is indeed, but this won't be the first panel I've done with one (it debuted on the DC-9-50 panels). Glad someone's noticing, George
