"DC-10" panels .... is the subject of this particular thread not MD-80 or other panel versions P-L-E-A-S-E .... let's focus on, finish, and then release one project at a time In any case HJG doesn't (normally) confirm its intentions publicly in advance of undertaking any particular new project .... each of which are released, and announced, when they're ready/available Mark C AKL/NZ

I had some clue of the features from the images, but I have to ask:
In addition to the fuctional Engine Thrust Limit Computer, which more features this new version will have? A/T coupled with N1? IAS Hold to climb/descent? Autoland? What about the aircraft systems?
Sorry for being such a pain but i've been waiting for a decent panel of DC10 for a long time.
Anyway, great job! Thanks for the hard work!

We don't ever give too much away in advance .... with the exception of what's obvious within the George's preview imagery or otherwise commented by him. HOWEVER .... and in terms of "systems" representation .... I imagine we'll be looking at something of about the same level of complexity/sophistication as that of our current version L-1011 and B707 panels .... as a guide/at a guess We're essentially limited to representing only what we've the ability to be able understand and compile with relative ease .... then learn (ourselves first) and also teach, bearing in mind we want people "to be able to" use these panels with "relative ease" and based on our "guidence" too .... these being the prime factors which govern whatever's featured within anything we offer Mark C AKL/NZ

And the best part is, they do it all for free. I feel almost guilty using the aircraft. I just want you all to know that your dedication and hard work brings me so much joy.
Thank you everyone, thank you HJG.
Nathan.

Hi:
After the brush up of the flight dynamics since nearly a year ago the brush up of the panel is fantastic news!
Kind regards and good luck

HOWEVER .... and in terms of "systems" representation .... I imagine we'll be looking at something of about the same level of complexity/sophistication as that of our current version L-1011 and B707 panels .... as a guide/at a guess The autopilot is certainly simulated to a level comparable with our L-1011 panel series, but the systems simulation (for which I am still doing research) is intended to be as complete as our DC-9 panel series, except where space dictates otherwise (for example I've omitted the CSDs for the generators). In short I'm hoping for the new DC-10 panels to mark the climax of my work for HJG! George

That all sounds very encouraging George .... and basically alomg the lines of what, I know, some of the community are desiring. i'll try an get responses from the F/E's in regard to the questions you've posed to me per PM. In the meantime .... keep up you're great work .... be this the climax, or not, of your HJG work Mark C AKL/NZ

While there's still clearly a lot of work to do (many of the gauges and switches that have already been added here are currently non-functional), this will give people here a rough impression of how I intend the Flight Engineer panel to look. Attachment Deleted

"THAT" .... is not only looking like a very authentic layout (as I remember on ours and UTA's DC-10-30's), but, great piece of engineering work also Mark C AKL/NZ

Great work of engineering a FE-panel. When you have finished this artwork of a FS-panel, I think it will be the most complex one which HJG offer. I can't wait to try it on my FS9.
Keep it up! It looks so great!!
