"AMERICANDC10" is on the wrong thread .... for starters Since October last year relatively frequent progress reports "have been" posted per the following thread on this particular forum page .... tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/8739/new-dc-panel-preparations-phaseThe most recent update having been posted "just a couple of weeks ago". Within the above-linked thread I've clearly emphasized the following .... "The final phase of this development, prior to it's release, is our own learning these new panels .... to "a very high level of competence" .... in order to assist our technical support .... as well as compiling what will also, and by necessity, become completely new forum based manuals too"At HJG we don't hurry/rush the development of any of our projects .... and nor do we release them without adequate knowledge or a decent support package either. Mike (and George) are "quite right" in what they've replied earlier today. We're a freeware group .... not a business .... and some folk perhaps need to remember this .... or be reminded accordingly Each of us here have our own personal, family, and business related commitments to prioritize .... and for these reasons FS is accommodated "at our convenience". We don't apologize for the length of time some may feel it's taking us to develop this particular project .... around 2.5 years "is quite normal" given the circumstances under which we all work .... not to mention the extent of the research, technical consultation, and both compilation and planning necessary to advance each stage of this project in order to evolve these panels/simulations into what they're about to become. This project isn't just a panel redevelopment .... it's also an FDE redevelopment, a very minor model/texture retouch (in the case of a minority group among our DC-10 family), as well as being a very minor audio edit too .... and all of this (as outlined) takes "TIME" Whilst interest "IS" always appreciated .... no questioning, from anyone, in regard to "when or how long" is going to influence any of us to move faster than we are/is practical .... "in the interest of producing a decent product".All HJG projects are ready "when they're announced" .... and people whom wish to participate in our community have to accept this Mark C AKL/NZ
