Hi,
I am currently using an Everts Air repaint on the DC-9-30F and I can't seem to get the main deck cargo door open. What would be the command to open this? There are pictures of the DC 9 with an open cargo door being used for the KLM textures, so can this actually be done or is it just false advertising?

You'll need to go to OPTIONS/CONTROLS/ASSIGNMENTS in FS (this's the FS2004 path .... I'm not sure what the equivalent path is in FSX) and "manually assign" the "WINGFOLD" keyboard command option in order to be able to work the port side forward fuselage maindeck cargo door. Here's a list of each of the animation related keyboard commands applicable to all of the HJG DC-9 series .... and these same commands/assignments also apply to the HJG MD-80/90 series models too .... HOWEVER PLEASE NOTE .... The HJG DC-9 models "ARE" FSX portable (not native) .... meaning .... they display and otherwise run/perform fine in FSX .... BUT .... they are essentially FS2004 intended 3D models, so, some of the model animations may not work in FSX or in accordance with the above quoted assignments/keyboard commands. This's certainly the case (confirmed) in regard to any animation based on the FS2004 CONCORDE VISOR keyboard commands .... which whilst this function "IS" represented in FSX .... it "DOES NOT" work the same as the FS2004 version of these command .... hence the model/s can't then recognize the command in FSX. No way around this .... I'm sorry See how you go by manually assigning the WINGFOLD keyboard command though. I suspect you should be OK in regard to this particular assignment. Mark C AKL/NZ
