It's not a bad book .... though, for my purposes, I found the individual airframe summaries at the end to be the most valuable content. I actually met Jon PROCTER (the author of this particular book), here in AKL/NZ, during the early 1980's. He was a TWA steward at that time, and along with another colleague of his (peter BLACK), operated an aitliner post card supply business (for collectors) known as AVIATION WORLD INC .... to which I subscribed for a number of years. CONVAIR (series props and jets) and CONSTELLATION (series) aircraft were, as I recall, his real pet loves in our aviation/airline hobby  Mark C AKL/NZ |
