The RFP 747 Simulation was/is defenetly the best options for me when flying the classic Jumbos. I started very early with this product and merged it succesfully with me preferd POSKY Modell. Of course through the complexity of the panel simulation I had a lot of malfunctions at the beginning. In that time i startet to get closer into the datas and cfgs (panel and Aircraft). After countless flights and adjustment and tweaking I found my own personal solutions with satisfied me most. The most importand thing for a succesfull merge with the POSKY Modell was to change the entire fuel/tank section in the AC cfg, since it is essential on the correct positions of the tanks in the Posky Modell and also I have to add 2 Sections more for the Wing Tip Tanks. Otherwise you could not start the 747 from cold and you will not use the FI Panel in correct way. Since the RFP is only to start in correct Check List procedure. Another Point was to correct some datas in the airplane geometry to give the Posky a more heavy feeling and a correct ajustment in climb out, cruise and decend phases. To give the correct flight attiduts you also have to use the AIR FILE form RFP and change that in the SIM= Line off the AC Cgf. Another important thing is to use the the flapsetting section with some slightly different lifts and drages and the Autopilot Section. Also changes has to be made in the electrical section. You dont have to ajust anything in the panel cfg itself, only if you use some add on like the CIVA INS (which i uses first) and/or the ISG Gauges (which i am using during a lot of online flying(
Here is my favorite merge you can try based on the POSKY 747-200F-PW-JT9D-7R4G2 with the Analog Panel of RFP assigend. You can see what I have changed in the AC cfg. Since I am using the REDUX lights and perhaps you not, you have to change the light sections to the original Posky ones.
