We now have wingviews available for both the standard fuselage and stretched fuselage versions of the DC-8 for use with FSX. They will work with all engine derivatives and all of the wonderful repaints available on the HJG website.
Please note that there are two different sets of cameras in the following posts so make sure that you are using the correct ones for the correct fuselage types.
Unfortunately due to a difference in the way that FSX uses cameras, they wont work in FS9.
I hope you enjoy the more immersive experience now available.

Folks .... there's some valuable information here (above) for those whom might like to try adding "exterior" wing views to their DC-8's, so, I'm "stickying" this posting in place so as to aid quick reference to it.
I'd also like to quickly add .... that among the above illustrations the new (corrected) AIR NEW ZEALAND DC-8 engine texture rebrandings (what's visible here repesents the 1973 through 81 era livery) and which will be released, at HJG, at some future point .... along with new versions of the airlines 1965 through 73 era liveries also and which feature different, but similarly redone, engine brandings once again.
"IF" anyone has any technical questions in regard to this information, then, I'm sure Nathan will be only too pleased to try'n assist/advise.
Nathan, I realize this is a two year old thread. I just found these having d/l the DC-8 a few days ago. I just wish to say thank you for a terrific job. I was contemplating defining some camera definitions for my own use. I wasn't relishing the time involved or the effort and repeated frustration. Then I ran across your work here. These are great... I know it's late, but never too late to say "Thank you for a job well done." Terry
