Ok so... as i mentioned in another thread... I've wanted this birdy for a long time... Guyana Airways IL-62M CCCP-86492 leased from Aeroflot circa 1984 Big 1Big 2I'm not sure what to do on the wings... CCCP 86492 or Guyana Aiways or both... I have no references for the IL-62, and versions of all the above appear on other types (707, TU154, HS748) Now if i can just remember how the autopilot works on this thing a MIA-POS-GEO flight report might appear

I just found a shot that shows the upper part of one wing... looks like it did indeed keep the Soviet markings, so CCCP & 86492 it shall be.

Hi Peter: Many Thanks its already in my "hangar". Regarding AP operations: In my experience the PT-INS is very nasty to operate and the NV-PB navigation system even in practice was only for very experienced well trained navigators and outside the USSR was seldom used even by Aeroflot. SO the best alternative is let do the navigation the KLN90B like in real it was done on international flights. The PT KLN90B is so realistic that one can use the real manual and its worthwhile to learn it. I have it installed in nearly all my "airplanes" and it works in them as it can turn the heading bug of the HSI and all my "company-routes" are active in all my "airplanes". A very good introduction to the AP of the PT IL-62M is found here including everthing of NV-PB navigation IN ENGLISH: yadi.sk/d/pbkSOd4QcBqapKind regards Walter

Hi: Here is a fictional repaint of the FS9 PT 154B2: PANAM! I took the liberty to convert it into extended btmp 888-8 and changed the wings to a B2 of the Russian Army as the original wings are not good: For the Tu-154M exists a fictional repaint for AMERICAN AIRLINES based on the VITAMIN model: Kind regards Walter

Hi friends: In my avatar is the LH repaint of the Tu-154M by Heiko Flöter aka PIPE. One can download it from here: www.friendlyflusi.at/index.php?page=DownloadDBData&dataID=234The nice feature of that repaint is its humor: The registration is D-LACH which means D-laughter, its is "operated by INTERFLUG" the airline of the defunct GDR as if the German reunfication would have been the other way around. The name is "SCHILDA" which is the town where many jokes about the Germans are located. Up to now a crazy act is refered in German as a "shield citizen prank" "SCHILDBÜRGERSTREICH". The repaint is in my hangar and it has "flown" in and over many countries. Here landing in Acapulco Mexico: Kind regards Walter
