So far I have installed the BAe 146 versions 100, 100 CC, 200, 300 and 300QT, as well as the RJ100. With the 300 and 300QT I am having problems, namely that they weave after engaging the autopilot and won't settle down. I reinstalled them just to be sure, and then with my limited knowledge of FDE cross checked the aircraft.cfg's with the older version, as well as with the 100 and 200 to see if something stood out. I couldn't find anything. I also tried flying with another panel (Targan Unutmaz's RJ panel) but the problem is exactly the same (and I tried this panel with the others too without issues). Have I overlooked something? As for the 100, 200s and RJ100, they fly fantastically and I look forward to much more enjoyment today! Greetings, Albert

When you say "weaving" what direction (roll left/right, pitch up/down, yaw)?

I can confirm this. When the AP engages and most noticeably when the altitude is captured, the plane begins aileron rolls left and right. I'm working on it now. May have to wait for Mark to wake up... 12 hours time difference between us. Mike

OK, it looks like I've got it fixed but will have to wait for Mark to help confirm. Mike

Thank you Mike. Just to answer your question, it yaws left to right, but also pitches up and down but not as radically as the yaw. As you say, it's most noticeable once your reached your target altitude. If you fly manually the problem disappears. Albert

Hi Mark, enjoy your coffee. I presume you always have a good supply of Colombian coffee wherever your are I forgot to add, I was engaging the autopilot during climb, not in order to capture the ILS for landing. The weaving I experience is far worse than the one we normally get when capturing an AP controlled ILS/GS in FS.

"TOKES"/Albert .... this might seem like a pointless request, but, I've very good reason to ask this of you I need you to open your BAe 146-300 and BAe 146-300 QT CFG files. At the top on each CFG file appears a typed header .... with "a date". I want you to quote me the date appearing typed onto the header of your -300 and -300 QT CFG's .... and also in regard to your CC2 CFG as well as you;ll see I earlier requested in regard to that particular posting as well. I need this particular information before I can reliably do anything else .... Get back to us ASAP please. Mark C AKL/NZ

Hi Mark,
The dates are: 146-300, February 14th 2017; 146-300QT, February 14th 2017; and the CC2, February 16TH 2017.
Sorry, didn't see your earlier request about the CC2 as I hadn't looked at that post again. Greetings, Albert

Hi Mark and Mike, I've re-downloaded the panel and aircraft base files, and then re-installed them just in case something was corrupted. But no change. Any progress there? Greetings, Albert.

Still looking at it "TOKES"/Albert .... looks like I misunderstood your original query on this thread, so, the first answer I provided isn't relevant to your particular issue being discussed herein Don't know what's happening BUT .... we are looking at it .... and at the possibility of there maybe even having been some form of corruption during the transfer of data from one cubical to another too. The last PC I tested everything on, over several weeks, and prior to its being uploaded in readiness for release .... didn't manifest any such symptoms (otherwise I'd neve have certified it for release), but, Mike's confirmed your experience. I may be in touch with you .... per PM, or email .... I "CAN" see you address here so don't go posting your address publicly for me Mark C AKL/NZ

Thanks a lot Mark. I know that you wouldn't release something that's not well developed and tested, you guys are too thorough for that. The FDE of the 100s and 200s I've tried so far are fabulous by the way, and I'm sure the 300 must be too. Cheers, Albert.

OK .... I found the problem. The problem was caused by "ME" .... a mistake "I MADE".It appears that I inadvertently assigned the wrong data to a couple of lines in a number of CFG's when packaging everything for release. The reason why I couldn't replicate any problem is because I had the correct data to start with .... but .... had copy and pasted it to the wrong upload version CFG's .... interruptions, and tiredness can result in mistakes being made and which is precisely what's happened on this particular occasion. I'm sorry about this folks .... truly We are .... as soon as we possibly can .... going to need to upload some of the base packs a"gain". I'll advise once this has be done. Only the BAe 146-300 and -300 QT are acutely affected .... but .... there will need to be some other replacements too. Again .... "my sincere apologies for this folks" Mark C AKL/NZ

That's nice to hear that you have found the problem.
Relax, we all are humans after all and humans make mistakes (there's a saying in Germany: Irren ist menschlich. This saying is translated from the old language Latin (errare humanum est) and there's probably an English version for sure).

Most likely the same similar saying in most languages, "the error is human" Mark will probably issue a virtual air worthiness advisory to all desk top pilots about not using the auto pilot on BAe-146-300 until the revised basepack has been uploaded. If humans didn't make mistakes, we probably wouldn't have much to improve upon. Benoit
