I have always been fascinated somewhat by the world of AI Traffic. Below are a few images of AI traffic encountered enroute. AI traffic is usually visable within a 10NM radius of the aircraft that you are flying. AI traffic uses great circle routes from point A to point B, and does not always follow the rules of proper altitude separation or cruise flight levels. There is also no attention paid to upper level winds. This Pan Am DC-8-30 is enroute to Bermuda. Above also a Pan Am 707-320 and DC-8-30. American AL Convair 990 and a Braniff 707-220 below. Another Braniff 707 above. A TWA 707 in the distance. A United DC-8 FT.23. An Aero Mexico DC-8-62 and American AL 707 below. Continental FT 21. A 757. Japan Air FT 61 above. Pan Am 747 Clipper 2 above. A Japan Air DC-8-61 below. A Japan Air 747 above. United FT 23 a DC-8 above. A United AL Boeing 720 below. TWA 707, FT 771 in the distance. An American AL 707, FT.572 below. American AL 707, FT.51 TCA DC-8, FT.850 below. KLM FT. 641, a DC-8 in the distance. Japan Air FT.451 above. TWA FT.842, a 707 Below. There could be "a virtual inquiry" in regard the ATC handling of some of those flights .... based on the imagess Other than that .... it looks like you were in "good company" .... and this sort of imagery is quite different/a change from that which we normally see here too Mark C AKL/NZ

Thank you Mark and Aharon for your comments. Every now and then I like to post something a little different, and yes, some of these AI pilots should be disciplined for not observing the proper cruising altitudes Although, back in the day's of the classics, cruising altitudes were different. West bound FL 310 and FL 350 were the norm, but not so today. I don't recall what year the changes were made. Aharon....it is actually very simple to make these screen shots. Take them on the fly or just pause when the AI aircraft is at the spot you prefer. Herman
