I noticed another thread dated 6 years ago with the same thought in mind. My question is for a recommended sound pack with recorded BMW Rolls Royce BR715 engines that would be great for the Boeing 717-200 found at HJG Downloads. Any recommendations? www.boeing.com/commercial/aeromagazine/aero_05/textonly/ps03txt.htmlI almost bought the Perfect Flight 717 but decided on NOOOO... .....HJG is better!

We haven't made a custom soundpack for our B717-200's. The soundpack we currently offer is for these is just "a temporary" file .... but .... being P&W JT8D audio derived it's "far from authentic" .... and we know it too . Whether we make, and offer, one in the future is entire up to Benoit .... BUT .... he has other FS audio priorities at this time, so, if we ever do offer authentic BR715/B717-200 audio I the future I think we can all safely assume it's a fair way off yet .... but again that's entirely up to Benoit In the meantime our current MD-90-30 soundpack is a far better (though still not authentic) option for our B717-200's .... as is also recommended within the "SOUND" section (4) of our forum based manual for MD-80/90 simulations. Would the TSS payware sound pack be alright or no? I plan to plug this route into FSBuild then export to FSNavigator and FS2004 flightaware.com/live/flight/DAL10also has the FsPassengers payware add-on involved And fly with smiles Edit: Looks like DAL10 switch from a Boeing 717-200 to a Boeing 767 on a long haul flight Minneapolis to London Heathrow. I forgot about airlines using the same flight number on two leg trips.

I wouldn't know.
All I do know/can tell you is is the sound packs we provide/produce are customized for our simulations/are compiled in accordance with "certain FDE parameters" .... because that's the way it should be done/needs to be done in the interest of producing the best audio playback results.
One (sometimes) can't apply just any soundpack to any other simulation and expect it to run equally well.

Okay.. I was guessing the fact FDE and sound sets have a close relationship. It's best I use what is there at the downloads section. Thanks

That may, or may not, be so .... BUT .... what you're not realizing is that soundpack isn't compiled in accordance with the HJG B717-200 FDE parameters and therefore may not work properly/as well with our version .... at least not in accordance with our own interpretation of the word "properly" I do however respect that in the absence of our own customized B717-200 soundpack .... and the fact what we offer as stand-in audio (for our B717-200 simulations) "IS NOT" authentic (as I mentioned yesterday) .... what people do in this particular instance is entirely up to themselves of course, but, I still recommend our MD-90-30 soundpack is the best/better of the options available "HERE" for B717-200 audio Mark C AKL/NZ
