Not sure if there has ever been a request for a repaint of the Boeing 707-700, that is already represented by HJG as shown below. If not, I would like to please request a "Fantasy" repaint of the 707-700 in perhaps the livery of Pan Am and TWA or any other livery that a painter might want to choose. Much appreciated....Herman

Hi Tony;
Yes, I did see those Tony, however, my thinking was, and since the model already exists, (707-700) it would be nice to see some paints\textures of some of the major airlines and the major operators of the Boeing 707-320B\C like Pan Am, TWA, American, BOAC etc.etc.
It would be more in the category of "What If" these airlines had decided to purchase the CFM equipped 707's.
And furthermore I would think that the creator of this model would be very pleased if he could see his development expand into something more than just one single model.
Yes, Ryanair and Virgin are truly "Fantasy".
Cheers; Herman

Darren .... BOEING "never" produced or sold any of them and no civil operator ever flew it Your interpretation seems unrelated to Herman's request and Tony's response, but, as related by me (twice) within one of you own recent threads within which the B707-700 was discussed .... tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/8849/confuse-more.... it was "a one-off temporary configuration only". .... applied to the very last cvil B707 airframe ever produced It was used to flight test the CFM-56 turbofan from 1979 .... and after which it was reverted back to a standard P&W JT3D powered "B707-320C" configuration prior to being sold (to the Government of Morocco) during 1981. Just to re-iterate, my request would basically be in the "What IF" category because the airlines I mentioned ( Pan AM, TWA, BOAC,American etc.etc.) were original operators of the Boeing 707-320B\C... not some airline that never operated the 707.

I think what Tony's meaning here is .... We already have a couple of "FAKE" B707-700's within the FANTASY section .... but .... we don't want to go overboard in regard to them .... or any other type either Being subjects that never actually existed they are, for that reason, "a pretty low priority" given that real world subjects will always take precedence .... "provided they're of interest to our painters" .... and if not .... then ... well .... Mark C AKL/NZ

OK Tony,if I am understanding you, what you are saying is, that there is no body interested in doing any more paints\textures of the 707-700 at this time. No problem, but it is unfortunate.

OK Mark, no problem, I get your point.
My thought was, that perhaps more folks, like myself, would take the 707-700 out flying if there more textures available of airlines that actually operated the 707's.

Hermann, never said no one including me would not paint anymore. We seem to have lost the point here, "airlines then added any other livery a painter wanted to do", hence my replies. I have not closed the door on the 700 and may well add some classic old liveries. Just so busy with things it will be a little while.

No worries Tony. I know you are very busy with the new 737 classics right now.

Herman..
I have a couple 707-700s on my possible eventually list... but it's low priority as you said.
however IF the textures you want exist for the -320C you can paste in the 320C fuselage, wing and tail textures onto a -700...

"PRECISELY" .... as Peter sais Using original "fuselage and tail" texture BMP's from the -320, -320B, 320B ADV, and -420 series only .... and not those for the -320C (due to its freight door texture BMP convention which I think may be different from the rest of these) unless these ones were "re-named accordingly". The fuselage and tail texture naming of all of these particular B707-300/400's is otherwise "the same" as those for the -700 and are therefore "interchangeable". Anything else would have to be crafted specifically .... and that's what can become an imposition for some of us in respect of the time required to do it versus that necessary in regard to what some of us would rather be doing On the basis of both Peter's and my own above advice .... people can produce their own (composite) B707-700's using fuselage and tail textures (only) that we already supply Mark C AKL/NZ
