Hello,
since Herman asked about the ATC issue in the Videos I fooled arround a little today and made this quick Video from a Flight of a Cargo DC1040 from Tokio to Taipeh. The special thing here is, that I used some live ATC communication which were originally spoken on 11.2.2018 between 0400 and 0430Zulu time. This makes the Videos more alive i think.
To stay with the Video and the Route i uses ATC files from RJAA Tower, Departures, from TOKIO Center (Control) from RCTP Arrival and RCTP Tower.
Let me know what you think and as always enjoy.P.S. Sorry for that landing...!!

"DEFINITELY" .... not MSFS generated ATC .... that's for sure I presume you've used random clips .... rather than any FS type of random generated AT like that of the old PROFLIGHT ATC and adventure program. Just one audio audio observation (some advice for you) .... if I may I note you're using the DC-10-40 (P&W JT9D powered as all -40's were .... the odd -ball engine among the entire DC-10 family) .... but .... I note you don't appear to be using our/Benoit's/HJG's P&W JT9D soundpack .... which we offer here (as separate FS2004 and FSX versions) .... and which is "customized" for use with "our own" DC-10-40 FDE's. The P&W JT9D sounds "quite different" from the GE CF6-50 (DC-10-30's and 15's), and GE CF6-6 (DC-10-10's) .... ours all having been recorded from the "real thing". The soundpack you appear to be using for your DC-10-40's seems, to me, to be a B777 type RR TRENT Try our own P&W JT9D DC-10-40 soundpack .... just in case you've missed it .... www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUUWIalbIyIwww.youtube.com/watch?v=PF6Ody_reM0&t=254sOther than .... not a bad effort .... even if it is just random ly aplied bits of real world ATC. On the subject of ATC .... here's a challenge for someone .... Turn this following real world ATC mess into an FS video re-enactment of what's "actually happening" .... A BUSY/.TOUCH DAy AT THE OFFICE .... NY ATCwww.youtube.com/watch?v=ztkGTke-P8YI reckon it would look good (if only it were possible/practical) .... and probably add another dimension to the term "visualization" too Mark C AKL/NZ

Nice video production Michael. The pilot\ATC conversations do add a lot of realism to the flight.
With real world ATC conversations one really needs to listen very careful, especially in some countries of the world.
Cheers; Herman

Hello, Mark, thank you for the information about the engines sound on my DC1040F. You are correct. It was the sound of the GE RR form a 777. I had the wrong aliasing on my sound cfg. I used this aircraft type a longer time ago in my simulator. Now I use Benoits JTD9-20. The wave files for ATC you can find here: www.liveatc.net/You have to posibility to listen to actual time ATC or you can download and save it when you scroll throug the archives of the singel sectors. Or just play it during your flight with your soundplayer. There is choose of many different airport in the world including some Delivery, Tower, Ground, Arrival, Directors and Center positions. Nice also to have the current oder past ATIS reports ready, so I can now which runway is/was in use. Good information to include this information in my videos. For the last one the departure rwy at RJAA on 11.2. was 34L, so I took of 34L and the arrival in RCTP was given to 05L. For the traffic jam video in JFK. Seems this was a rough day for the controller over there. When I was thinking about how to present this in a video i got some ideas. But this is a long term challange. Let me see what I get out of this. Thanks and have a nice day All. Michael

Our DC-10-40 P&W JT9D soundpack is representative of both the -20 (NORTHWEST) and -59 (JAL/JAA). Although the hot/exhaust end of both engines are quite different but the rest of both is similar and there's insufficient tonal difference between either engine version to justify separate soundpack versions .... unlike is the case with another "NEW" P&W JT9D (earlier and later different marques of the same engine) sound project currently being undertaken by Benoit for 2 other aircraft types .... the release of which is "imminent". The JT9D soundpacks we offer are tailored exclusively for use with our own DC-10-40 FDE's .... for optimal audio playback .... and won't work similarly/desirably if used with other (non-HJG) DC-10 FDE's. It certainly helps/improves the authenticity of everything we try to do/offer by having "the right audio" for different engine types .... something for which we are indebted to Benoit I'd be interested to see what sort of FS audio visual you can make (if any) out of that NY ATC recording .... mess aside it was bordering on being quite funny I thought, but, at least he got it all sorted out. I might be able to dig up a couple more of these Mark C AKL/NZ
