All I can say is, "WOW!" Those are terrific..I'm not sure whether to praise or curse... because my hard drive size is a mite anemic at this time and this may send it to an early grave. These look great, thank you for sharing.... Terry

Thank you! The PSA and USAir BAe-146 fleet is *almost* (but not quite) complete, with the addition of these two: USAir N166US, 1988 Yet another curious hybrid- PSA N184US, 1987:

Thanks guys! Here are a few more DC-10s for your viewing pleasure; I'm doing some experimenting with the alpha channels to test some visual effects so it may be a while before they're ready for uploading. Still, they're ready to preview at least, so I hope you like them! Mark managed to talk me into completing the Viasa DC-10 fleet, and here are two of them: PH-DTG circa 1975- this frame was leased from KLM and delivered straight to Viasa from the factory. Eventually it received a Venezuelan registration as YV-134C, and this is the livery it wore in 1996. The resemblance to Iberia's livery was a result of IB's ownership of a 45% stake. This one was requested several years ago, based on an old post I found, so I thought it was time to finally put it to paper (pixels?). This is N909WA of Western Airlines circa 1986, in a curious hybrid of their earlier white top livery with the striping of the then-current "Bud Lite" colors: Finally, here's the last (I think) of the PSA/USAir BAe-146s in the form of N178US, circa 1991.

The holiday break was definitely restful and relaxing, but I still managed to work on some projects for the library here from time to time! The first one that's ready to go is this MD-88 of Delta Shuttle from 2007. Initially Delta Shuttle was formed from the remains of Pan Am's shuttle service, and operated between Washington, New York, and Boston. It started with 727-200s before 737-300s and -800s were introduced around 2000, and service switched completely to MD-88s in 2005. In 2008, they were returned to the regular mainline fleet, and while the shuttle concept still exists, it's now operated with ERJ-170s and -175s by Republic Airways as Delta Connection. Also, here's one of the less-attractive airplanes to fly for American Airlines, N912WA as seen in 1988. It was sold to Scanair after leaving the Delta fleet and immediately leased to American for about nine months from June 1988 to March 1989. While still with Western, it was also modified to the DC-10-10ER standard represented with the new base packs here.

One more to share for the moment; I finally found some decent-quality imagery to use! This is N647SW of Southwest circa 1997, in its livery commemorating five consecutive Triple Crown awards (for best on-time performance, baggage handling, and customer service metrics). It remained basically unchanged for its entire career except for the later addition of a flag on the tail and winglets, and was replaced by a 737-700 in the same livery in 2015.

Just updated the AMERICAN AIRLINES/WESTERN AIRLINES DC-10-10ER hybrid livery above .... in accordance with some last minute edits Erik has applied to this texture. Evidence of the DELTA AIR LINE fuselage stripe on one side of the fuselage, and the mismatched #1 and #3 engine nacelles on this subject, "ARE NOT" texture errors .... this was how this particular aircraft actually appeared when leased to AMERICAN AIRLINES during 1988/89. N912WA was delivered to WESTERN AIRLINES during July 1979. It was leased to DELTA AIRLINES from April 1987 .... then SCANAIR from May 1988 .... and then AMERICAN AIRLINES from June 1988 until June 1989. This particular aircraft was one of just 13 DC-10-10's equipped with additional tanking promoting extended range .... referred to internally here at HJG by the unofficial nomenclature of "DC-10-10ER/ LAKER AIRWAYS CONFIGURATION" .... since this LAKER was the first to benefit from such additional tanking being applied to the DC-10-10. The 13 DC-10-10's built, or later converted to, this specification went on to fly with many other operators later during their service. Further in regard to the NEPTUNE AIR SERVICES BAe 146-200 water Bomber. As stated above this aircraft "was not" equipped with external tanking as per other ARJ/BAe aircraft converted for such fire fighting roles. The red-ish tint on the rear fuselage undersides of this texture subject is representative of staining caused by the fire retardent expelled by this aircraft .... PLEASE NOTE: The HJG BAe 146-200 model "is not" equipped with this animation .... nor these fire retardant effects either .... since "no further modifications" can be applied to these ARJ/BAe models which have reached their maximum development. To that end, Milton Shupe's Lockheed Neptune fire bomber package has some nice-looking retardant effects which could conceivably be applied in the aircraft.cfg file...that may lend itself to some tinkering the next time I'm at home on my main FS computer Needless to say, though, anyone wanting to do that would have to do so on their own time. Anyway, here's a trio of Lufthansa 737-300s from the 1990s to add to Tony's great existing standard livery. The first is D-ABEF of Lufthansa Express from 1992, wearing stickers promoting Berlin's bid for the 2000 Summer Olympics. Next is D-ABXU, in the standard LH Express livery as seen in 1993: Here's D-ABWC as seen in 1999 as a 737-300QC. This was originally a Condor aircraft, and one of several converted to QC configuration in the early '90s (along with a few Lufthansa originals). Rounding out the Lufthansa Express fleet are a few other classics; D-ABKD, a 737-400 from 1994: ...And D-ABIN, a 737-500 from 1995: Lufthansa Express also used A300s, A310s, and 737-200s in their attempt to compete in the low-cost game.
