AND .... the prize for (what surely has to be) the "PIG UGLIEST" aircraft currently in service goes to .... "BOEING" .... for its "B747 LCF" .... I actually saw this sucker parked up at MIA .... early last year I think it was. It does tend makes this thing look "positively b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l" .... by comparison Mark C AKL/NZ

Hi Mark: There is a serious competitor for the proposed titel still available: AIRBUS BELUGA No match for this "beauty" is the graceful AN-225: Kind regards Walter

Howard Hughes would say he would beat all of your planes with his more ugly Goose plane.

Walter .... have the BELUGA and MYRIA been "properly" represented as FS freeware ? "H-4 HERCULES" .... thank you .... since "GOOSE", or "SPRUCE GOOSE", was merely a coined nickname that (unfortunately) stuck .... www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2227304/Spruce-Goose-Howard-Hughes-On-65th-anniversary-brief-flight-history-monumental-folly.htmlEasy to mock people for what's later perceived as their folly (and HUGHES rightfully, and wrongfully, did suffer, and even invite, some of that mockery upon himself) .... but .... it/the H-4 was still "an impresive feat of aviation engineering for its time" .... and doesn't look too bad in comparison to other period aircraft designs particularly among marine aircraft types ....and which are a whole other design in themselves. Having only briefly flown "once" .... it's capabilities (be they positive or negative) never got a chance to be assessed due to the abrupt ending of WW2. And favoring marine aviation aircraft subject myself .... aboard which I have "a lot" of experience (as a PAX) .... I quite like it .... to the extent of my even buying ACADEMY's 1/200 scale kit of the HERCULES H-4. No .... he'd probably say something like .... "I've just about had enough of this non-sense" .... then bid everyone farewell, get up, and walk right out of the room .... and get lost I his own work Quite a nicely staged act perpetrated by him at the end of (which actually terminated) the 1947 senate hearings which really sought to expose him as a wartime profiteer at the expense of the US government. Like me .... he didn't take any crap from anyone Mark C AKL/NZ
