Hello, I just downloaded you L-188 base file I followed your readme file, I started FS9 it is not in the aircraft section. I am confused as I have the super connie I would appreciate any help. Thanks Kenny (aka simpilot)
I found it, when I started FS9, the only one that showed up was PSA ornage, no red also no Western just a black where the plane would be

Definitely no L-188 ELECTRA on our flightline.
I suspect he should probably have posted over on Tom GIBSON's CAL CLASSIC's forum .... unless he means L-1011 .... but then .... that doesn't tie in with his SUPER CONSTELLATION reference either.

As much as many of us might like to see such (along with couple of other types too) materialize .... I think you´re flogging a dead horse there.

Although I never like comparing simulations (payware or freeware) I am, on this occasion, going to express "my own personal preferences" in regard to the L-188 ELECTRA for FS .... and which is for the Libardo GUZMAN version depictd by me below .... KLM ROYAL DUTCH AIRLINES 1961EASTERN AIR LINES 1959EASTERN AIR LINES 1961AEROVIAS AEROCONDOR de COLOMBIA (early 1970´s)NORTHWEST AIRLINES 1961I feel this particular simulation (model) better captures the distinct shape of the L-188 ELECTRA .... and which is most evident in the form of the upper tail fin trailing edge among other features too Another version of the ELECTRA which I´ve seen features a tail shape which IMHO is more resemblant of that of the VISCOUNT In so far as panels are concerned .... I´m using 4 different panels as are depicted by me below also .... 2 of which are produced by KBT for their P3 ORION .... whereas the other 2 are by another party who´s name (for the moment) escapes me .... L-188/P3 TYPE CIVIL PANELL-188/P3 TYPE MILITARY PANELL-188/P3 TYPE PANEL .... KBT V1L-188/P3 TYPE PANEL .... KBT V2Tom GIBSON´s L-188 ELECTRA offerings are supported by yet another panel option .... but his simulations of these aircraft feature "separate base backs" composed of models by Chris BUFF (I think), JC LUCARINY, and my own preferred Libardo GUZMAN version too, with FDE customized by Tom´s team and for use with each of these "separate" model versions accompaned by his own preferred panel option. I could .... if I wanted to .... bring an arm full of Jet Props to HJG .... BUT .... I think I´m probably not going to do it (other priorities being my prime justification), so, whilst this conversation is for FS dogest/interest only I don´t want my contribution being interpreted by anyone as meaning HJG might be about to broaden its aeronautical horizons. As I said above .... one´s probably flogging a dead horse in hoping HJG might introduce the L-188 ELECTRA, or even other Jet Props too, because most of these are very nicely catered for (I feel) by Tom GIBSON Mark C BOG/CO
