First time posting here, so I have no idea if this will work.

I'm guessing that any model that works in FSX will also work in P3D?

Thank you very much gents. Aharon, you do indeed know me from NZFF. These models do work in P3D3 ,they even show up in P3D4 , but with bits missing. I haven't as yet tried to get a panel to work ....its not a priority for me as I focus on screens from the outside. All i did was delete the default HJG panel and sound folder and replace it with default folders from a known working aircraft in P3D3 ....I used those from a POSKY B-767, and bingo ... all the control surfaces are animated, reverse thrust, gear retract/extend , flaps and spoilers. There is an issue with texture around the cockpit glazing , but its manageable for screenshots. I also noticed the aicraft dont throw a complete shadow when on the ground ...but again a minor thing.
Ive been flying out of the awesome HJG hanger for years (probably too many )and to be able to finally display these beauty's on one of the latest platforms is amazing ....these are FS9 vintage!! and still viable ... 110% credit to your developers and painters. I cant say that everything will work , but I am picking my way thru the fleet. You really need a clear head when dealing with any HJG install outside of FS9 , not hard , but very precise procedures as you well know.
Anyway ..enough of that , glad you enjoyed the screens.
Thank you.

The question was/is .... will our (these simulations at least) work in P3D ?
The straight/honest answer here is .... some (certainly not all) of our simulations "may" (possibly) work in P3D, but, that depends entirely upon "which version of P3D" one's using.
I've received reliable reports that (some of) our simulations "DID" work with the earliest versions of P3D .... although there might have been some 3D model related issues in regard to the like of rudder and aileron animations (I seem to recall reports of constant oscillations occurring and which couldn't be arrested) .... HOWEVER .... I've also since had it reliably reported too that as P3D evolved our (and other) simulations became less compatible with it .... to the extent it's my understanding they're not now compatible with the current/latest P3D version.
I don't want to mislead people or have anyone under any false impressions .... so ..... I think what really needs to be understood here is there's often a big difference between any (other non-P3D intended) simulation actually appearing if loaded into P3D and it's being compatible/actually working "AS ORIGINALLY INTENDED" (in regard to our own products at least) within this other FS environment.
Appearing in any other FS environment "DOES NOT" imply compatibility .... and that applies to both the 3D model, effects, FDE, panel, sounds, texture component of any simulation .... and just to stretch/digress this point slightly .... whilst FS2004 FDE's work (note I don't say they're compatible) in FSX they actually require a bit of taming in order to result in a satisfactory FS flight experience, so, there's even lesser known but minor compatibility issues between these 2 M$ FS platforms too and beyond those which are widely acknowledged.
I'm sure our 3D models and their textures might appear/display in P3D .... BUT .... probably not without some issues and I very much doubt our current FDE will result in the simulated flight performance "that we intend".
Similarly .... some of our panels might "appear to work" in P3D too (maybe) .... but .... there may be a number of items/features compiled into these that don't work, or, can't work as programed by us for FS2004/FSX.
As far as our sounds are concerned .... I "very much doubt" these will work in P3D .... simply because the audio engine is probably different from that of FS2004 and FSX (it's quite different between these 2 M$ FS platforms too and which requires separate customization of any soundpack in order to work with each) .... and our current sounds are all compiled specifically in accordance with the audio engine of these M$ FS versions as well as the FDE parameters within our own simulations too.
"THIS" .... is all I can tell you reliably/honestly since HJG and P3D are an largely unexplored union.
We/HJG have no plans to recompile what we offer for P3D .... in fact I (personally) "will not" be doing so .... 18 years of doing what I'm currently doing is just about enough for me (I don't want to be doing this forever although it sometimes feels like I have been) .... P3D customization will be someone else's folly (beyond my time here) if undertaken by HJG at all.
BTW .... is that "SPLITPIN" from NZFF ?

OH .... it's not run by me exclusively .... we have "a good team" here at HJG .... and it's that "teamwork" what makes "the difference" Mark C AKL/NZ

One more screen for you ...not the best framing, but its as good as this old brain can come up with tonight. And, I know the aircraft are miss matched by age ...no way a long engine KC would be tanking an RAF RC ....but give me some artistic space here. If I may follow Marks comment ... my interpretation of "WORKS" in P3D3 is subjective ...meaning it works for me, it's visually correct..suits my purpose, define it as you like. I make screenshots, I'm not remotely interested in FDE's, dynamics, etc. So, if it looks good....and these do, I'll use it. If you are the purest simmer, you may well be disappointed, I don't know. What I do know is, these wonderful models can be used in the latest(almost) sim platform. Again, all credit to your developers, painters etc, just magic, thank you.
