Hey Folks, I have many pdf files of aircraft specs from many aircraft manufacturers, but I have never been able to find one for the TriStar. Here is a link for the ones I got from Boeing as an example: Boeing Corp Aircraft DocumentsIf you look through any of those pdf files you will see it gives much information concerning specs and performance. Does anybody know where I could find a similar file for the TriStar? Thx!

Yes, those Boeing documents are fantastic as a source of information, including the high quality 3-view drawings. As the L1011 was a Lockheed product, no such exists, as far as I know. So for products outside of the Boeing-MD area, one must dig around a little more in the web. I ALWAYS use as a primary source of technical data the TCDS of any aircraft. Unfortunately while the data is extremely accurate, it doesn't always cover everything that is needed. For example, seating arrangements. Anyway start with the TCDS and then expand the search farther out in the web. Believe it or not, the Wikipedia entries are a good place to start with some basic info. For the L1011, here's the link to the TCDS: rgl.faa.gov/Regulatory_and_Guidance_Library/rgMakeModel.nsf/0/5342e492984e8616862576ac0055feb3/$FILE/a23we.pdfMike

Thanks, some great info there, got some of the info I'm looking for. The only thing I'm left looking for now is the runway length requirements and payload/range charts. thanks for that link, good info!

No Aharon, that wasn't me. I don't sim much anymore, but when I do it's using HJG 707s and DC-8s. And I don't really do screenshots.
I still visit this forum pretty often though! Always informative.
Regards,
Jim
