I have downloaded and installed the complete series of 737-300 v1.1 passenger jet textures that are available on the HJG website. They were installed in FSX where other HJG textures have been installed and work flawlessly. My issue with these textures is as follows: I have installed the entire 737-300 series in the sim, but for some reason only the first 14 show in the sim; from number 15 on each of them does not show. They were installed IAW outlined procedures. I have been over the .cfg file with a fine tooth comb, looking for errors in each aircraft's config entry; also looked to see if I had misnumbered them, or even if the brackets around one of the entries were of the wrong shape - which will result in that aircraft, and all the aircraft after that one, failing to show up. I have also tried re-downloading some of the affected textures to see if this could be traced to a bad download due to a problem with my machine; again, nothing changed. I did not alter any of the config entries during installation; each of them was installed verbatim from the texture package as maintained on this website. BTW this is the only 737 variant that has problems in my FSX installation; all the others work fine.
Can someone tell me what this issue might be related to? Thanks.

These models .... and their textures .... are all FS2004 native, but, are also FSX portable too ....and withiout any issues as you've obviously determined per your FLTSIM.0 through FLTSIM.15= texture additions. I've got "a couple of hunches" .... but .... I need you to copy & paste (here) the complete FLTSIM.XX section of your CFG .... "NOT" the entire CFG please .... "just that section of it which relates to your add-on textures FLTSIM.0 and until the final FLTSIM.XX entry you've installed in order to determine what may be happening. Awaiting your response .... and which I'll be glad to look at subject to my own availability of course Mark C AKL/NZ

No trouble at all, but I installed all 55. Do you want only those that display properly, up to and including just the first one that doesn't?
Not trying to be a wise guy, but only thinking of space and information overload here.

I need to see "THE LOT". I need to see everything up to, and beyond, your # 15. It's the only way to do it properly "SSI02" .... in order to avoid guessing games "IF" .... my "hunch" is right, then, you've likely done "nothing wrong" at all .... however .... there "IS" a lesser known FLTSIM.XX/ADD TO AIRCRAFT influence that can cause textures to not display. If I were to try'n "explain it/this" (here) I'd only risk "confusing" you/people. Therefore I need to see your entire FLTSIM.XX section .... from # 0 to # 55 .... in order to see "precisely what you've got there that may be influencing things and in order to determine whether or not my "hunch" applies as well as the recommending the appropriate fix .... and which may result in the need to edit certain details among what we current offer as downloads. For all we know the same/similar influences could be repeated among some of your FLTSIM.XX entries way beyond your # 15 too The sooner you can do this .... then .... the sooner we can hopefully resolve your issue, so, get back to us "as requested" .... just the FLTSIM.XX section only of your CFG please Mark C AKL/NZ

There's your problem with # 15 .... the TITLE=line has ended up on the same line as [FLTSIM.15] as follows .... [fltsim.15] title=HJG_737-300 Frontier Airlines (N303FL) 1999This data should appear as 2 separate lines as follows ..... [fltsim.15] title=HJG_737-300 Frontier Airlines (N303FL) 1999That's sufficient to cause # 15 , and everything beyond it, to not be recognized by FS and then "NOT" display within FS Copy and paste the following # 15 data to your CFG .... to replace what you currently have there at the moment and let me know if that resolves your problem. The 737 became the best-selling commercial jetliner worldwide when orders for it hit 1,831 in June 1987 (surpassing Boeing's own 727 as the previous champ). However, it wasn't always that way\s in the first few years of production, there were so few orders that Boeing considered cancelling the program. They didn't, and the airplane has more than proven itself in over three decades of service. Texture by Peter LIDDELLI also note a number of different variations of aircraft type designation among the "TITLE=" data lines for what you have installed too (this was my "hunch") .... and which "CAN" cause issues if these are not all entirely the same. It seems some of our painters have been applying "different" data when they complete their FLTSIM/ADD TO AIRCRAFT data entries. Fix # 15 first .... and tell me if that works, or, works in part .... then .... I'll address/correct the other matters for you per separate advice Mark C AKL/NZ

Here's my other observations and recommendations concerning your FLTSIM.XX data .... If correctly applied the TITLE= "aircraft type" data line of each FLTSIM.xx entry should read as follows .... HJG_737-300 The above is our correct/sanctioned TITLE= data line basic aircraft type designation for the PAX version B737-300's (only) .... and which is precisely what you have for the most part .... BUT .... I'm also seeing variations among some of your TITLE= basic aircraft type references too .... no fault of your own since it seems some of our artists have been using slightly different data. Too many basic aircraft type name variations among this data though "CAN" (from my own personal experience .... having resolved similar issues for other people) cause FS to "NOT SHOW" some installations as a result. This usually only becomes evident when a multitude of textures for the same aircraft type are installed. The entries you currently have and which should (IMHO) be edited (whether or not these already display correctly) are as listed in your numerical FLSTIM.XX order below. Please note, and apply, each of my recommended corrections as these appear "in red" .... as follows .... [fltsim.4] title=HJG_737-3T5 Britannia (1990) .... correct this line as follows ....
title=HJG_737-300 Britannia (1990)
[fltsim.7] title=HJG B737-300 Dan-Air London 1990
title=HJG_737-300 Dan-Air London 1990
[fltsim.8] title=Boeing 737-3Y0 easyJet G-EZYA (1997) .... correct this line as follows ....
title=HJG_737-300 easyJet (1997)
[fltsim.9] title=Boeing 737-3Y0 easyJet Switzeland HB-IIE (1999) .... correct this line as follows ....
title=HJG_737-300 easyJet Switzeland (1999)
[fltsim.10] title=HJG B737-300 Aloha Airlines 1993
title=HJG_737-300 Aloha Airlines 1993
[fltsim.48] title=HJG B737-300 Western Pacific ("The Simpsons") 1995
title=HJG_737-300 Western Pacific ("The Simpsons") 1995
[fltsim.49] title=HJG B737-300 Western Pacific ("Winter Wonder Plane") 1996
title=HJG_737-300 Western Pacific ("Winter Wonder Plane") 1996It's "a very minor" detail, but, too many variations among basic aircraft type name designations "CAN" confuse FS .... "on some systems". It's always best to ensure "simplicity and complete uniformity" in respect of these particular details. Adjust all of these details as requested .... and you should then be fine Mark C AKL/NZ

Applied the first fix, to no. 15, and the improvement was immediate. The stable now shows all liveries.
I then applied all the rest of your identified fixes for ease of computer operation, as you suggested.
A valuable lesson learned - absolute uniformity in the titles, as you say, throughout the installation.
Experience, as has been said, is better bought than taught.

I'll get someone to check the #15 texture .... since the double entried single line might not have been your error. If there is an error then we'll correct it. The other remaining items (non-standard entries) is "definitely not you fault", but, aren't errors in the true sense .... however .... these cause issues "on some systems" (as I've already seen and resolved previously) .... but which general only become evident in cases where "a lot" of textures are being installed into the same base back .... otherwise it doesn't seem to be any problem. All having been said and done now .... "ABSOLUTE UNIFORMITY" among each of the critical FLTSIM.XX data display entries is "always recommended". I'm glad your fully up and running now .... our pleasure Mark C AKL/NZ
