I've got it to work!!!!!! I change the radio configs. to 1,0,1 in both cases and for me it worked. I claimed earlier that I had done this, but must have forgotten to save file, anyway, chaps, for me this works so now I can go flying your superb DC10 Maurice

That's a relief .... but .... it's "extremely odd" you should need to change any of the RADIO data at all ....since neither we, nor anyone else I know of, using 5 different PC's (and a variety of OS's, in 5 other countries, has had to do so. My own FS system (offline permanently now) is precise the same OS as your own .... as is my own FS version of choice too .... yet I've not need to edit anything at all. I "would not" recommend anyone else make any such changes though .... unless they experience anything similar and where it's proven they should do so. Thanks for your feedback and co-operation with us Maurice .... and we wish you many enjoyable virtual flights with "The Big 10" Mark C AKL/NZ

I claimed earlier that I had done this, but must have forgotten to save file, anyway, chaps, for me this works so now I can go flying your superb DC10 Maurice I'm still concerned though that you are not actually running our latest base pack (as the nav radio configs should already have been 1,0,1 in those). If you are running our DC-10 panels using an aircraft.cfg and AIR file other than that provided by our latest base packs (or if you are mistakenly using the ones from the no-hjg-panel subfolder) then you are likely to encounter other problems with the system simulation provided by our panels. Please advise... George

If there has been any inadvertent FDE mix up or a previously unintentional RADIOS edit applied (easy to make a mistake ) then that explains why I, and everyone else that I'm aware of, haven't experienced this problem. Thanks George Mark C AKL/NZ

For me alls well that ends well. However, I only recently, August 20th and 24th, downloaded the DC10 and was unaware that older files were available. Maurice

Check that your aircraft base pack ZIP files all read "V3" suffix .... and your panel ZIP files all read a "V2" suffix .... and that their supporting gauges/core files ZIP file should also read a "V2" suffix. So long as all of these ZIP files which you have conform to this protocol .... then you good, but, if any of your ZIP files don't, then, you have "a problem". By August 20th all of the old files (for everything) should have been long gone .... as the new/current data was released/uploaded on August 17th Having said this though .... the only other thing that's imperative for one to do "before" attempting to downloading anything from any of our downloads pages sections is to "refresh their browser" .... using CTRL+F5 keyboard commands .... or one might conceivably end up with the wrong/old/stored pages and data. I think this's all starting to make sense now Mark C AKL/NZ

As I had mentioned previously, I am basically a single, narrow body flyer, but mainly out of curiosity, I downloaded and installed a HJG DC-10-30 into FSX Steam.
All Com and Nav frequency changes worked just fine.
