Hi all! I would like the texture of the DC-8-33 of Trafe LV-LTP, the only DC-8 registered in Argentina and the Number 7 Manufactured. Thank you!

What a sad ending for an airplane. Looks like it has ended up being a home for a few animal species. Herman

It's a sad and undignified end to a DC-8 .... and that sort of destruction is a fate worse than scrapping .... Similar has happened in Colombia too. This TRAFE DC-8-33 would actually be quite a nice subject "IF" any of our team would like to consider taking it on .... I think it the only DC-8 that made the "LV-"/Argentinian civil air register Mark C AKL/NZ & BOG/CO

Alright, I'll give it a whirl... add to my recent Argentine endeavors Looks to still be basic Delta cheatline so that part should be easy enough since I'm working on another ex-Delta DC-8-30 ... the logo may take a little time though. And yes Mark, whomever did that should be strung up from the control tower by his gonads and flogged by all us old airliner lovers. Sadly it happens far too often

And that fire was because they found out that there was the possibility that he would fly again, a whim of the unions and guilds of Argentine airlines was that the plane will no longer fly (Reasons?) Then they burned it, little by little they were dismantled over the years and then recently they finally scrapped it! It is very sad that no one has saved a piece for the museum, since it was the only DC8 in Argentina ... And I would believe that he is one of the least flying in the world!

EARLY preview for you: Does anyone know what would be on the wings? I'm guessing registration bottom starboard but is it top port as well? TRAFE on either?

"In South America" (certainly in Colombia during the era of this particular subject) registrations appeared on the upper starboard wing and lower port wing .... but usually (although I can't confirm this to have been the case in Argentina) .... the airline name (in airline font style) also appeared on the upper port wing and lower starboard wing too. Best I can suggest is .... go for/add the wing registrations .... at the very least. Looks g-r-e-a-t Peter .... a nicely represented piece of civil aviation from "the South American silver state"/Argentina Mark C AKL/NZ & BOG/CO

EXCELLENT WORK!!!!😍😍😍 I suppose that on the right side it has the license plate above and on the left side it has it below! like all Argentine planes. (Maybe it would change the tone of the blue, for a little more blue)

Some details left to adjust... but should be more or less correct now?
