SPRING 2019 HJG TRIVIA CONTEST (INTRO & RULES)
Welcome everyone .... to this first of what we hope may become regular community fun items open for the participation by all FS community whom associate with HJG.
This first item is a trivia quiz composed of 25 historic airline and civil aviation related questions .... remember HJG is all about history, airlines, and civil aircraft primarily. Note that while internet research is recommended, be aware that many of the questions will deliberately come up incomplete or wrong if you just try simple Google searches.
The first person to correctly answer all 25 questions will be invited to select prizes of our offering.
As this is all about "FUN" .... we don't want to formalize things too much beyond the following basic but essential rules:
1. No HJG Staff member or HJG Guest member is eligible to participate in this quiz .... this quiz is for community member participation only. Any staff that do attempt to participate will be automatically disqualified.
2. ONE SINGLE entry may be entered by each participant .... any participant whom files more than one entry will have both of their entries removed without notice. Any entrants that attempt to use multiple user accounts to enter multiple times may be banned from the forums.
3. All entries must be emailed to the following HJG address ...

All entires must include the forum user name of the entrant. Any that do not include the user name will be considered disqualified.
4. The receipt of entries will only be auto-responder acknowledged.
5. Participants may not post their entries on the forum .... nor post the answer/s or guesses to any question on the forum either.
6. The answers to any question may not be solicited through the forum .... any such solicitation will be removed along with the disqualify that participant. Repeat or blatant attempts may result in the user's forum account being banned.
7. The answers to all questions will be based solely upon the information available to we the Judges. We have done our best to confirm all information from multiple verifiable sources.
8. No correspondence may be entered with any entry .... a copy & paste of the trivia questions and answers to these only will be accepted. See next post for entry form.
9. The judges' decisions are final. There is no appeal process. No correspondence regarding the judges' decision will be entertained.
10. Emails sent to contest@historicjetlinersgroup.com that are NOT entries will be ignored/deleted without response.
The winner will be determined by the first entry received with all 25 questions correctly answered, mail server delivery time is used.
This competition will run for a period 60 days from today and ending at 23:59GMT on June 20th 2019 .... any email entries received in the mailbox after that date and time will be void and deleted without review.
If no fully correct entry is received upon the conclusion of the 60 period of this trivia quiz then the winner will be determined on the basis of the entry with the most correct answers and the earliest entry to achieve that score.
The winner will be publicly announced on the forum and a custom forum title assigned to that user of "Spring 2019 HJG Trivia Champion" to appear over the avatar on the left side of the screen.
Additionally the winner will be contacted by forum PM and invited to select 3 unreleased texture sets as prizes of our offering (however be aware that this is dependent on the painter making any selected texture available, and the painter may update or change any selected texture between the time of it being supplied and publicly uploaded and without warning, we do not guarantee the texture version supplied to the winner at the time of its selection will be the final release version posted on the website) .... this prize may be claimed immediately or at any time within a 12 month period from the end of the contest.
