So far as I'm aware there's only a couple of major CV990 liveries left to do now ....
DENVER - PORTS OF CALL (original version with natural metal lower fuselage .... prior to that we currently host)
VARIG BRASILIAN AIRLINES (very earliest tail livery .... the version used immediately prior to that we currently host).
There's only a hand full of CV880's & 880-M's left to be done .... pretty much most of which were operated by tourist charter companies.
And there's less much than a hand full of CV880 FREIGHTERS which could possibly be visited in the future .... and despte the fact we'll be unable to provide a CV880 model with a working freight door.

Depends whether he proposes to release it publicly or not.
With Tony's backing .... I'd be only to pleased to upload it "HERE" .... fully credited to him of course .... and on the basis that it first met our quality standards and that it was offered to us.
If the the author will communicate with me/us .... then I'd like to chat privately with him.

Guys
Wait a minute..I think that's the Aerosim Classic Airliners DC-8-62. Not ours. Check out the static wicks on the wings and HSTAB. The HJG model doesn't have those. There are also small flap fairings on the bottom of the wing and small elevator fairings seen on the bottom of the HSTAB on the Aerosim DC-8-62 model which ours doesn't have either.
Take a VERY VERY close look at those areas and compare it with the pictures I have in the post below...
FWIW..Ed has painted up several of the commercial Aerosim Classic series 1 or 2 plane packs, especially the L1011 series. Aerosim made a rather interesting DC-8-50/61/62/63 and Super 70s models. I have all of their stuff and this is definitely the Aerosim -62. It's a rather nice model after they patched it a few times. {The original DC-8-61 and -50 series had serious modeling "issues" with them that the authors fixed. It's quite a nice looking model now.}
I have FS9 running right now, will take a shot of one of them and post them here in a minute..
Regards John

Here we go..the red circled areas are features the Aerosim DC-8-62 is fitted with. Static wicks on wings, tail and HSTAB along with flap and elevator fairings underneath. This is their ATI -62 featured in their Classic Jetliners package. This should clear up any doubt over which model is being painted.. ;D Ed Cox does Fabulous stuff with these. He's a Project Opensky member and a 'helluva nice gentleman to chat with via email. He sent me some really slick videos of the panel modifications with the "Penny and Giles" engine gauges he made for the Aerosim DC-10-30 {and the 747-200} in Northwest Airlines configuration..I've gotta' get him to send those files over..it's quite a gem of a panel!!! See the Aerosim DC-10-30 model and Ed Cox modified panel in action here! London Gatwick to Minneapolis-St. Paul.. uk.youtube.com/watch?v=_GmK1V1dBD4Regards John

John, You are right in all departments, I did suspect the Aerosim model in fact Ed confirms that it is in fact the v2 freighter model (he likes that one best). Clearly he does have nice photo originals though which 'might' port accross to the HJG model? No pressure Ed...... Jack

He he he... I didn't bother with all that small detail on our DC-8 models. Too many frame stuttering polygons. ;D
