I believe I asked him to develop it for the Samdim model, but I believe he chose the one you've pictured
There's a number of ways to compile any FS sound pack.
At HJG .... we take "the better", but definitely more complicated route, and compile our audio strictly in accordance with "certain FDE/AIR.FiLE based parameters .... and which absolutely ensures both superb audio tone (in accordance with power settings) and compatibility "with the simulations we offer and as we offer these" .... provided our own FDE isn't then tampered with. The only draw back to this is the FS audio we produce won't then work "as we intend it to do" if used with other non-HJG supplied simulations or the wrong HJG simulation.
All of the sounds packs HJG offer are therefore aircraft type and base pack specific and "must" be applied/used correctly.
As I implied at the very start of "this reply" .... other FS audio producers use "different" means to produce what they offer.
I don't know what methods are employed by SWINDLE .... but .... depending on his personal preferences the KUZNETSOV turbo-prop sounds he's provided may well be equally compatible with both the MERCY and SAMDIM TU-95's (and possibly even the latters TU-114 too) .... one needs to try it out in both simulations in order to determine this.
However .... don't be surprised if there is any audible tonal differences when it's used between both simulations (sometimes this impact can be positive, or negative, but, either way this new audio will likely favour one or the other simulation) .... for the reasons I've stated
