It's highly likely significant variations between both aircraft and era will exist.
This applies to civil aircraft too .... not forgetting either customisation of panels for various operators as well.
In fact I even have here a photo of 1 version of B707 panel devoid of those 4 classic/distinctive engine fire warning indicators on the above the engine instruments.
The degree of both changes through evolution as well as customisation of panels for specific requirements is really quite an interesting and fascinating subject.

The "1 2 3 4" engine firehandles on the glareshield were removed on 707s built after 1967. My own 707-120 panel (and derivatives) are circa 1959, while the 707-320 panel (and derivatives) are circa 1965.

In fact, the 135 panel has many elements that look like the 367-80 panel, especially the throttles pedestal and the overhead.

Did the 367-80 have water injection, or was it light enough to use basic JT3C engines?

Both the JT3P and the JT3C-4 featured water injection.
TO rating: JT3P: 9,500 lb dry and 11,000 lb wet JT3C-4: 11,200 lb dry and 12,500 lb wet.
During flight tests in December, 1957, the 367-80 was also equiped with one JT4A-3 in number 2 position and a JT3C-4 in number 3 position. In April, 1958 the JT4A-3 was replaced by a JT3C-6. The JT3C-6 also had water injection.
And as a curiosity the 367-80 also had a fifith engine mounted on the left side of the rear fuselage between 1961 and 1962, during the 727 development program. First a JT3C-4 and later a JT8D-1.
Today the 367-80 is equipped with JT3D-1 engines.

When did this happen Gary? I looked at both of my KC-135 books and they state that it was never fixed because the only way to fix it was to completely re-plumb the wing. It only got "fixed" when the aircraft were re-engined and the water injection system deactivated. Chris, I found this info in Robert S. Hopkins book "BOEING KC-135 STRATOTANKER..." It states "After several crashes due to loss of thrust on one side during take-off, Boeing redesigned the water injection system to the inboard engine-outboard engine pair system. By 1969 all KC-135A, C-135F, and C-135A airframes and their derivatives which used water injection had the newer and somewhat safer system." Unfortunately I have never worked on an "A" model so I cannot personally verify that it actually was that way. Cheers, Gary

It seems to me that I saw a CRAG panel on one of the download sites (Flightsim, maybe?). Will any panels like these work with the current cfgs and FDEs we have now? I really like our new panels. I am plenty content to wait if someone else's panels won't work. -- Marc Burcham Columbus, MS P.S. It's very interesting to take off a fully loaded KC-135A from Columbus AFB on a muggy Mississippi day!

I'm brand new to the forum here, but have been using many of the Group's aircraft since FS2002. Some still in FS2004.
Anyhow, I'm a KC-135R/T Boom Operator and could help provide photos and data if you are considering a panel.
Looking forward to more of your great work!
Jeff
P.S. All of the CRAG panels I've seen are wrong.

Any panel will probably be Ok as long as you don't like flying by the numbers... that's why George Carty did his magic on all the different variations of our 707 panel, where the engines gauges are modelled after each type of engine.
But it would be great to have a 135 panel. And also a 367-80...
