The sensible thing would be to do the PEA as a UI texture .... if we don't already have it in -61CF form (and I don't think we do although I've not yet checked).
From that UI texture an AI version could be transitioned .... as has been the case with our other AI DC-8's based on our UI textures, but, AI texturing is "Paul's department" as our whole AI project is "his".

PEA also operated a DC-8-63CF (N797FT( as well .... Might as well kill 2 birds with one stone .... since nobody else has claimed these. Mark C AKL/NZ

Does anyone know the name of the font? I have one close but it takes a fair bit of work to get it right

Don't know .... but it looks like a squared-rounded edged and italicised block .... and a "hand drawing" might be the only solution Otherwise .... Peter might know or have useable references Mark C AKL/NZ

Cheers Mark, yes it may have to be hand drawn, I am about 50% working on the titles but will keep looking in case a simpler option pops up

Should be DC-8-61CF -63CF, and a DC-10-10 only .... I don't think I mentioned a DC-8-71 unless I made some "typo" Just noticed something else too .... The PEA DC-62 we currently offer is in basic SEA & SUN AIRWAYS livery .... The definitive PEA livery on the DC-8-62H (N39307) was the same as that applied to the -61CF as follows .... The DC-10-10 is "basic CAPITOL AIRWAYS" livery .... if you were to "ask Erik nicely" I'm sure he might consent to his "CAPITOL SKYSAVER" livery/texture (same aircraft N905WA) being used as a foundation for PEA version and which will resolve the red upper fuselage crown skin pin striping with greater clarity Mark AKL/NZ
